Remarks
I had got a score of 234 in JEE and applied to NIT TRICHY, ALIGARH MUSLIM university but I was not selected in both the universities for CSE and that is why I opted for NIT DGP for my B.TECH IN CSE.I was selected there and i enrolled myself in the course.I have availed OBC quota for my admission.The criteria for admission was a good JEE mains score with a minimum of 75percent in 12th boards and age should be 18 years.I was selected in NIT DGP and my counseling was done in JUNE 2012.I forgot the date.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because it was the best course O got according to my rank. The faculty-student ratio was 2:90 for each subject offered.The teaching quality was best in class and we have an interactive class were research-based education was given priority. The teachers have at least an M.Tech Degree in certain specialization and 10 years of teaching experience. Our exams are always on time but the questions we got are a bit tough and we always troubled ourselves for exams.
Internships Opportunities
I was offered the role of a software developer by the former IBM India.I was offered a package of 6LPA and 50000 per monthly.My first project was to develop software for finding bugs in the system but I failed also I was trained for the company ecosystem.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees ranged between 60000 to 70000 thousand per annum and there was minimum fees hike in the course.The hostel fees was a bit higher but the overall cost of the study was acceptable to all.I do not got a scholarship and there was not any sort of financial assistance but I got a decent job with a stipend of 50000 per month.
Campus Life
The annual fest was called The Annual Techno Management Fest and there are a lot of events except this.We have got a quiet big library with all the books and journals we needed.We have a well furnished classroom with an Smart projector.There are multiple playgrounds and sports clubs.We had a student group on google.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel in which I resided was a four storeyed building with all the facilities.We have garden in hostel and there was a cycle stand also.We get a variety of food in mess but usually meal of a mess is always a mess.The cost of hostel was bit higher but it was acceptable to all.
