T NITISH KUMAR's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Durgapur

Of course B.tech is a new chapter of everyone's life but you cannot read it to full extent unless you join NIT DGP.

JEE MAINS 2015 Score 174 I got my desired branch in this college and due to the suggestions given by my parents,seniors and the fellow citizens i opted this institute.

Computer science department in my college is very famous in East INDIA after IIT KGP. Our department has senior faculty with vast knowledge . Our college is very famous in research and development. It is directly linked with DRDO and few of our researches has been implemented by some reputed companies.

Our college provides internship for the students of other colleges and yet times also provides some training programs .

Our campus is namely best for it's placements of students . Many reputed companies like Amazon ,Flipkart , Reliance Foundation , CGI , SAIL , ONGC , Coal INDIA ,Volvo , etc . NIT Durgapur tops the list in terms of placements in MME. Our campus also provides job opportunities for the students from other colleges , especially in the field of construction , research,etc.

Every year we have a lot number of events and fests celebrated in our college premises. AArohan-the second biggest annual tech fest in east india organized by CCA club Then comes the one of the biggest cultural fest Recstacy. Mukti, Verve, Motor Zundung ANK,etc fests will be celebrated grandly some special events from Prakriti Club , NSS also fills enthusiasm in the students.

The fee structure is different for open catagory(OC), and that for other catogory students. New scheme for fee has been implemented from the academic year 2016-17 for the newly joining students. as per the new scheme the fee structure is dependent on the annual income of parents . if the parents income is below 2 lakhs, institute fee paid will be zero, between 2-5lakhs institute fee will be 1/3rd of total institute fee, and above 5 lakhs full institute fee should be paid (70,000rs per semester).

College scholarship is offered for the students every year which considers 50%annual income of parents and 50%of merit we have Canara and SBI branches in college itself so that we can avail loan easily.

Beautiful campus life . we can experience all kind of situations of life so that we can fight with any sort of problems in future with out fear . gender ratio in our campus boys to girls is 5:3 . perfect example of unity and diversity. physical education every morning is good for health. excellent labs and every year we have many fests to expose our talents.

We have a good hostel facilities with neat environment . But coming to food , North Indians are ok with the food but South Indians will not be satisfied to full extent.24*7 internet facility is available . Neat bathrooms with geysers.we have badminton and volley ball courts and some indoor games can be played.

They are totally helpful and their achievements and research programs are the inspirations we get everyday.

There will a Mid-sem exam and an End-sem examination in every semester . Mid-sem exam of a subject is conducted in the class itself by the respective lecturer end-sem examination is conducted in the months of Nov-Dec and April-May . End-sem is conducted in academic block and examination schedule and arrangement of seats is different for different semester students.

After the final round of allotment of seats in JoSAA , I have entered the college allotted to me with my original certificates , allotment paper and got them verified by the concerned authorities of college. Received the admission letter after the verification and started my graduation life.

I personally feel that we students don't have the right to evaluate the faculty . But I can say that few faculty members are extremely good and are at their best . They help us in an efficient way if we need it . They support us and inspire us by explaining about the outer world and advancement of technology .
