Remarks

I'm applied to 7 to 8 colleges, maitrei college, mata sundry college, lady Irwin college, Desh Bandhu College, Aurobindo college and more only because of sports but at last, I'll choose Mata sundri college because this college had good placements, scope in sports, at the admission type I'm availed in sports quota but am fresher I had one medal in zonal level but I had not that level certificate to have admission in sports quota so I'm not selected in sports quota, then I go through my percentage and I took admission in Mata sundri college for women. The admission process is very smooth i"ll take a seat in the general quota they announced 85% for generals and I also had 85.2 % so it's easy for me to take admission in this college, this college infrastructure, facilities, and study, and all teachers are best. They also provide their college 3rd senior and our seniors as our counselor. Due to this I also not facing any problems bcoz all seniors and teachers are very helpful. Overall best college

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because I want to go in civil line that's why I chose BA program in history + political science. It's helped to balance to take knowledge from both subjects equally. The teachers are here very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are highly educated With PhDs in their field. The teaching skills of every teacher are much better than an ordinary teacher. The curriculum of this subject is designed by Delhi University. Every semester has 4 subjects, i.e.., 2 core subjects, 1 Language subject, and 1 AECC. Exams are quite difficult and 33%is passing percentage. In 12 months 2 sem were completed in first 6 months 1st term/semester was done and in another 6 months, 2nd semester was completed.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
