Remarks
After the results of jee advanced, there was counselling conducted by jossa. we were told to give college preferences. I got nit dgp cs branch. the date was given to locking my seat I went to college. booked it. the rank I got was 24,424 air and got my seat by obc reservation quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course cse gives the highest placement percentage so I opted for it. The faculties are good. They are mostly PhD or masters in particular fields from renowned colleges. the semesters are of 4-5 months and there is a mid sem, a class test, and a semester exam. the exam is pretty good means we had to study to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are good but you need to make prior preparations and good practice to get an internship in your third year. there will be a campus hackathon also try participating with them. many companies offer internships from hackathons. Many students get many numbers of offers.
Placement Experience
there are good placements on the campus. good renowned colleges come to the campus. companies like Microsoft, Amazon, jpmc, wells Fargo, etc come to our college. fewer companies come for internships and more companies come for placements. 30-40 students get internships offer but more students get placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
the semester wise fees are around 68000. there are 3 slabs of income criteria if annual income is below 5 lakhs you need to pay less than 40000 and if annual income is less than 1 lakhs you need to pay around 10000. you can get internship offers from good companies in your third year and get PPO from the same in your final year.
Campus Life
the social life is good. we have many club. you can enrol in them in your first year only. there are many sports opportunities. the classrooms are also good in a well renowned campus in pollution free areas like dgp. the sports teachers are also very good and cooperative
Hostel Facilities
the hostel facilities are good. there are three students in one room in the first three years. in the final year, you get a single person room. the food in the hostel is also good and tasty you get to eat in the hostels of your seniors and they give love to you. the hostel takes 17000 one time fees and the mess charge is added every semester.
