Entrance Preview
I scored 84% in cbse Xll class in humanities stream. Although i always wanted to pursue fine arts in graduation but since i failed to clear the entrance of art exam therefore i opted for political science(H) as a graduate subject. I always wanted to be a part of delhi university so i chose this college as it is the oldest girls college with a great alumna.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of my subject political science was very apt and well planned. It was very well designed in order to keep in mind the needs and abilities of students as well as focussed on domestic and international life of individuals. Course is student friendly and includes all the important aspects of individual life.
Internships Opportunities
No my college does not provide any internship. It is a day college wherein students have to go and attend classes. In summer vacations, students go for training in other companies.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities is overall great and fruitful. After graduating from this college, one gets a job very easily. Although its upto students to choose their job and career on their own but still college profile and college name acts as a great support in making bio data look heavy.
College Events
There are many events, festivals, workshops, seminars, exhibitions and many other college functions happen all the year round. There are many college societies like media, fine arts, music , dramatics, dance etc in our college which helps an individual to develop their personality and fulfil their wishes and conquer their interests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of our college is as per the government policies which very reasonable and inexpensive. During my college days, i paid 10000/- per year which includes everything. It is very less as every student is able to afford it. Also students living in hostel also have to pay less and very nominal fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship programme for backward and minority students in our college. Those students who come in this category are given relaxation by not paying fees as they cannot afford it. This helps them to study in college without pressure.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is not applicable in our college as it is a girls college. Girls in our college coming from different cultural, religion, caste, and even regional diversities does not have to face any sorts of discrimination. They are equally treated and given equal opportunities in every aspect.
Admission
I got admission on the basis of merit prepared by delhi university. As i scored 84% in my Xll class so i got admission in this college according to the first list only. Although i wanted to opt for a co ed college but since my parents were keen for this college as it has the best alumni and incurs great opportunities for its students therefore i opted for i.p college.
Faculty
The faculty of my college in every course was well qualified, highly professional, and well versed with their subjects. They were not only well educated but also friendly at the same time. Teachers tend to help us in every manner at all the time be it after college. They act as a true friend, philosopher and guide to us.
