Remarks
I am a second-year student of NIT DURGAPUR. I had appeared in Jee Main and Adv exam 2020 and contained good marks in JEE Main. I have got 26400 ranks in jee main but I have don't clear jee adv so I have only one option to take admission in NIT college. I participated in Josaa counseling and I have got NIT Durgapur Chemical Engineering in my first Round.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had found Nit DGP Chemical because due to some reason I can't proceed further round so I have frozen NIt dgp chemical in the first round. I don't feel any time that I can find a better branch in this college because the placement percentage of this branch is better than Mechanical and Civil and in this branch, we have many opportunities. Now, we talk about exams and study, due to Pandemic all these things are happening in online but professors and A professors are very good, they do all possible effort in a study which they can. In this college, there are three types of exams, CA1, CA2, and end sem in all semesters which contain 15, 25, and 60 marks.
Internships Opportunities
For internship many opportunities for the 2nd and 3rd-year batches like Microsoft, Amazon, JPMC, PSW, and many blunder company. The college also provides best internship for students by Internshala and many intern platform and program.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, the company starts taking employees from college, and placement start. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Wells Fargo, JpMC and many companies for each branch come in college. The package in our college is also good, some person finds 44CTC also from our College and average placement of our college is approx 10 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this college are not much high, its similar like other NIT college. The semester fees have divided into three-part by the annual income of your family if your family income is less than 1lakh then your tuition fee is null and for more than 1lakh and less than 5 lakh, your tuition fee is 30400 and if your fam income is more then 10 lakhs then you will give 68400 tuition fees. Let's talk about Scholarships, we can find All state Scholarships, NSP, and others also. College also provides some scholarship like ONGC and other.
Campus Life
We have not felt any campus life due to covid but we have a lot of about college by seniors that in the college many clubs are here like CCA, Enteract, GLUG Darpan, EDC, MNTC and many other clubs which is for Drama, Writing, Sells, Coding. The college has also has many playgrounds for sports, Lords in one of them and The member of any sports take part in Inter Nit competition.
Hostel Facilities
In our college, there are 13 hostels total, 11 hostels for girls and 2 hostels for boys, The number of students in any hostel room decreases by its years. The warden and workers of hostels are excellent. It will much much better than for a person who thought about PG.
