Remarks
The admission was through JOSAA counseling, so there I opted for many colleges but this was allocated to me according to my choice filling. The minimum marks vary from year to year. Yes after each round as decided by JOSAA thier is a date when you are required to reach your college to save your seat.
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically, according to my rank, I was allocated this course. There is enough faculty and they vary in each semester depending on the number of subjects. The faculties are all highly qualified and have an excellent grip over the concepts. The exams are strictly according to the academic calendar, the difficulties vary from one professor to another, but on a broad scale it is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There are lesser intern opportunities for, many departments. Though one can work with professors of various colleges after requesting them by mail or any source of contact they are available. They provide various projects and one can comfortably work under them.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are companies like Wipro, TCS, JIO, ACCENTURE, CAPEGEMINI, GENPACT, ZS, and many others visiting for campus placements. The percentage of students placed varies from department to department, one can check the details on the official website.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is to be paid during each semester, their are three slabs one is of students with family income less than 1LPA other 1-5LPA, and the last >5LPA so fees varies according to your slab and and also depends on Quota. Yes thier are certain scholarships provided by respective state governments and various government offices.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest is "NITyamini" conducted around April, annual tech fest is "AAROHAN" conducted in month of January. The Central Library is a multi-storeyed library consisting of a number of books and journals of various subjects and also e-journals. We have two academic buildings one main acdemic building and other new academic building provided with sufficicent amenities. The college has two playgrounds the sports and extra curricular opportunities are well provided. Enteract, Strokes, GLUG, RECursion, EDC, CCA are various clubs run by students.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms have sufficient spave to have a table, a bed and a cupboard for each student. The corridors are clened regularly and even one can get their room cleaned by same people. Have proper laundry facilities, if one faces any issue he/she can contact the caretker or manager or warden. The meal quality is ok, but not too good. The registration is done at time of admission and then with proceeding years the hostel changes.
