the college has a good environment and friendly nature. situated at a precised place where the needs of a person can be done.the admission procedure was a quite a fruitful one. infact there were rounds, different papers to show of during the procedure. Yet holding a good nirf ranking with a decent placement round a college we can all hope for. with numerour activities and other co circular activities as well. I searched college dunia through their filters and according to the aspects NIT Durgapur was a better choice for me.

i opted for other engg courses as well but civil engg i got atlast. well it didnt took me into my nerves yet it has a good course and the faculties are good yet not so good. some of them are helpful some of them are just not. the faculties of the dept are well qualified from well renowed universities. well the term examination are quite difficult to pass because it entirely depends on the proffessor if you are going to fail or pass. the civil dept makes a worth while engg because the struggle behind it makes it real.

There's a very good culture of competitive programming in our college, and if one works hard enough irrespective of branch, there's a good chance of him getting placed in the campus placements. Name of the companies and no of offers made are available in the placement section of the college section, please check it out. You will get all the details there regarding highest package, average package etc, percentage of student placed. And as far as my plans are concerned after getting the degree, none of your business. I don't like to share my goals until I achieve it.

there are about 3 to 4 fest all together. which includes both the technical and non technical. which are quite enjoyable specially when everyone gathers and enjoy to their fullest.there is a huge huge library with plenty of books, it does really provides academics books but also you can find story books as well. the classrooms are well equipped and has a nice view around the window while you attend the class. there are different sports like basketball, cricket and atheletics. we have an annual sports day as well and inter NIT sports.there are almost 18 to 20 clubs with different domains starting from arts, entrepreneurship, automobiles, photography, dancr, music etc which are runned by students and they have one or two facad for each

We had Student Activity Centre and had to take a compulsory co-curriculur course in my first year. I had selected basketball as my co curricular and the infrastructure overall was quite satisfactory. The college library had a vast array of books from a variety of genres in addition to academic books. It's one of the stand-outs of our college. The labs definitely need renovation as soon as possible, and for the wi-fi, the less I say, the better it is

the room capacities differs in different years. sometimes the rooms are big with 3 beds sometimes with small with 2 beds. it provides you a table, chair and almirah and a bed. and different shelves which you need for keeping up things.the registration takes place in the day while you take admission. the warden allots a room with a new girl and you need to bring you stuff from the next 3 to 4 following days with strict orders.

as i took admission in nitdgp. so it went through entrance examination where i got a decent percentile to get myself into a well and good NIT college. so there werent any GD or test series as of. Only way was going through JEE papers, give the exam and get a nice percentile to get into the top A tier colleges
