Remarks
Due to covid the entrance exam took place a few months later than the normal timing of every year and so the admission processes that is the Josaa Counselling started late too.Around mid November the entire admission process was complete and the session started form the first week of December.I did a lot of research before selecting this college the best place to get insight of the collge was from Quora.The were various factors that led to this choice, one of the main reason was the college campus being in the city. Now since it is an NIT the placement is supposed to be comparatively better but still after a thorough research it came to my knowledge that not all departments were doing very good in placement. But my placements in IT companies is good enough and that being my major focus I didn't had to think much.
Course Curriculum Overview
In First Year all department students have the same syllabus so despite being divided into departments random section of students are made. Students learn from faculties of all department in the first two semester.There are three exams in every semester CA1, CA2 and the End Sem Examinations.The qualification of faculty is good enough and there is a very healthy student to faculty ratio.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement in the 7th semester. The highest payers are Microsoft and Goldman Sachs. The highest pay goes around 40 L.P.A and the average is somewhere around 6-7 L.P.A . Almost 70% of the students get placed.
College Events
There is a annual fest conducted in the starting of the year, all the college clubs come together to organize it with multiple entertainment gigs, competition and games to participate in. Library is well sufficient for any book or Journal you might be looking for.There is newly built CCA center to promote sports and extracurricular activities in campus.And there are two playgrounds that can facilitate games like football and cricket.There are more than 10 clubs and societies run by students in the college that organise various events throughout the year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no relaxation for General Category Students but a certain level of discount is given to SC,ST and students who have a income certificate of below 1 lakh or 5 lakhs. On campus job might not be a thing but always there are opportunities for internships.The cost of Study compared to private colleges is very affordable and with the financial assistance provided it is a very affordable college for anyone.
Campus Life
There are two large playgrounds to facilitate outdoor games and a CCA center too. There is always internet facitlity throughout the campus with an optimum speed. The library has enough books for you to find whatever you are looking for. The labs are well equipped with all the necessities.
Admission
No There is no Group Discussion for the admission. But ofcourse the only way to get into the college for B.Tech is by result of Jee Main Examination through Josaa Counselling.
