Remarks
The admission process was cut-off based. The university released the cut-off list of the colleges in the university and once you ful-fill the cut-off requirement, you become eligible for seeking admission to the particular college. The DU website offers all the application forms and updates regarding admission. Recently the admission process has become CUET based.
Course Curriculum Overview
I didn't get my desired course, therefore, the B.A. program in History and Political Science was the second-best option. 110 students per faculty member. Teachers are mostly Ph.D. or Ph.D. students. The term exams were semester based and they were easy to pass at least.
Internships Opportunities
Corporate internships are not provided in college, however, students have a placement cell that guides students for internships. The college has its own Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) internship. Students themselves get internships in TechBurner, and other startups.
Placement Experience
In the 5th semester, students become eligible for the placements. Infosys, ICICI bank, Accenture, Deloitte, etc are among the top companies. The highest package is 20 LPA and the average is 9-10 LPA. Around 20% of students get placed. I will go to UPSC after college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike is done every year by rupees 1000-2000. The fee structure is according to the courses, mine was 17000 in 1st year and 18000 in 2nd year. The national scholarship portal provides scholarships to all students apart from it college provides scholarships on a merit basis. However, the expense is more for outsiders.
Campus Life
The college has more than 30 societies. The annual Diwali Mela by NSS- Suruchi is organized. There are plenty of books available in the library. The classrooms are well furnished. Hindu College's sports facility is among the top at Delhi University. Mecca is the annual cultural fest organized by Hindu College.
