Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was interested in Btech in Electrical Engineering. The faculty and students ratio is satisfactory. All faculty members are highly qualified from top IITs or from the best abroad universities. One semester contains CA 15 marks, 25 marks mid-semester, and 60 marks end-semester. And it's a little tough to pass and it's expected from a top NIT like NIT DURGAPUR.
Internships Opportunities
Companies such as ICICI have offered 15 lpa to the students and many more companies such as JPMC offer 20 lpa to the students. Projects such as if that person is in the field of tech then they should try to make an app or go to various hackathons along with their teams.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester students become eligible for internships and from 7th semester students become eligible for placements. Companies such as JPMC, Bajaj, Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, AWS, Tata Steel, and JSW. The highest package is 70 lpa and the average package is 13 lpa. More than 85% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The general fees policy of NIT DURGAPUR is nearly 78000 per semester and in four years it is nearly 600000. Scholarships include such poems, along with SVMC. In-campus placements are allotted to students.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest is Recstacy and the annual tech fest is AAROHAN and they are conducted between the months of December and January. NIT Durgapur has its own library which has various collections of books and its own collection of journals. Each Classroom contains AC and has projectors too along with black blackboard.
Hostel Facilities
In the room, there are 3 cots 3 almirahs, and 2 fans. Meal quality is average we can also say it is good too and it varies from hall to hall. The registration process starts after the verification of the documents.
Admission
You have to take the jee mains exam and your 12th result should be above 75% percentage. The application form, application fees, and application dates all are provided on the JOSAA official website. Nothing special improvement is needed.
