Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen this course cause I was more into coding than anything else. The faculty is quite good and some teachers are very supportive. To maintain the student-to-teacher ratio our department has divided the students into two sections which helps in better interaction with the teachers.
Internships Opportunities
I have currently not applied for any internship as I am in the second year. Companies like Microsoft, J.P.Morgam, pwc, tcs, Accenture, and Samsung provide internship opportunities in our college. We can also work under any professor and perform a project without applying for an internship
Placement Experience
Placements in the college are pretty good. They provide Placement opportunities from 3rd year. Companies such as Microsoft, J.P Morgan, tcs, pwc, etc. visit our campus for placement. More than 80% of students get placed. My plan is to get a placement in one of the top MNCs after getting my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides financial help to students whose family income is less than 5 lakhs. They have to pay 1/3 of the tuition fee and students whose family income is less than 1 lakhs do not need to pay the tuition fees. I currently have the financial help to pay 1/3 of the tuition fees as my family income is less than 5 lakhs. I am currently in the second year and have not applied for any job nor have I gotten any kind of scholarship
Campus Life
Our annual fest is conducted in March and it's name is Recstacy. Our tech fest is conducted in January and it's name is Aarohan. The library has all sorts of books needed by Students and it also provides a good atmosphere for students to study in the library. We get fully air-conditioned classrooms with projectors. The college provides all kinds of sports as an extra curriculum for students who want to participate. There are 20 clubs in our college and the clubs are very active in all types of activities in our college
Hostel Facilities
For the first year hostel is mandatory but for the rest year students they can opt for day scholar. I am a hosteller and for registration we need our college id and our details. The hostel is quite affordable as it only charges 10000 a year. The mess quality is average and it costs Rs: 140 per Day.
Admission
For this course, we need to have physics chemistry and maths subjects in the higher secondary. I had given jee mains and have qualified for this college. I am a general student who was admitted to the college with a percentile of 99.3. The cutoff usually varies every year but above the 99 percentile will let you secure a seat in cse Branch in this college
