Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical is an evergreen branch and it is one of the hardest or toughest courses. Choosing this course lets you explore so many domains like automobile engineering, aeronautics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics etc. The faculty of this college are good., supportive and student-friendly.
Internships Opportunities
You can take up projects under a lot of big companies, the same ones that offer you jobs as well. You can have your own personal project working for a club etc. Overall the tasks and projects enhance your CV a lot.
Placement Experience
Placements at our college are very good. And it has always been getting better. Big companies like Amazon, Google, JPMC etc. come here to offer jobs. The highest packages reach up to 70 lpa on campus. This year it was from our branch itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is pretty affordable. If you are economically challenged, you can avail EWS category which reduces the fee structure even drastically. If you are from West Bengal and nearby states, you can avail scholarship. Also, people from the EWS category can avail of scholarships as well.
Campus Life
Life on campus is very chill. Social life is very nice. Interactive and enthusiastic. Helpful seniors and faculty members. Brings out the best in you. There are officially 33 clubs. Dancing, singing, robotics, coding...you have it all.
Admission
You need to appear for jee main exam to get into NIT'S, GFTI'S OR IIIT'S. If you qualify for MAINS, you appear for JEE ADVANCED. Qualifying advanced makes you eligible for IITs. All the dates of the exam, admission process etc. are given on the official website of NTA.
