Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Biotechnology for my interest in culturing bioscience and moving into the research field. The faculties are highly qualified and most of them have done doctorates from well-known universities. Term exams are conceptual and little hard work can fetch good marks.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered by various IT companies like Google and they provide good packages. PPOs are very common for every 4th year students. Core internships are also present which provides good understanding.
Placement Experience
Students go for internships after 2nd and 3rd years. Many of them get PPO's. During 4th year 3 placement sessions occur on campus and core and non-core companies come. Big companies like Microsoft and J.P.Morgan come and give packages as high as 70lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is nearly the same as other engineering institutes but less than the large private institutes. Hostels are good but mess food is not worth the money. Scholarships are there for girls and students with less family income. Also, fee weaver is there
Campus Life
Annual fest Aarohan. Cultural fest Vistar in the months of January and February. Most course and competitive books are present and it is fully air conditioned. There are lots of tech clubs and other clubs which focus on IT career development. Classrooms are also nice with smart boards.
Hostel Facilities
Room is generally for 3 persons with lights fans and charging sockets. Mess food is average. Hostel registration is done online where money can be paid. The mess provides 3 times meals with each week one day a heavy dinner.
Admission
Through JEE Mains conducted by NTA. The application can be found on the NTA website. Fees and curriculum all are informed there. The exam should be more thinking-based rather than textual and only one exam should be conducted.
