Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science has been a lucrative brunch in recent times and the probability of getting an opportunity in this field is huge, as well as money matters. That is the reason for choosing this branch. The faculty: student is 1: 25 (only applicable to undergraduate students). All faculties possess Ph.D. degrees. The exam is conducted exactly three times(CA1 - 15 marks, Midterm - 25 marks, End term - 60 marks) in every semester.
Internships Opportunities
SDE role is offered by CISCO, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, SalesForce, JPMC, Wells Fargo, and Tata elxsi. Business Analyst role is offered by companies like PwC, and Goldmann Sachs. The core companies are John Deere, L&T, and TATA.
Placement Experience
From the 7th sem, students can seat for campus placement. Most of the company looks for students with no supply or active backlog with a decent CGPA(>7 or >7.5). Trilogy is one of the companies which visits every year and makes no offer. Microsoft is the dream company of every student who wants to get into tech, Microsoft offered around 51lpa ctc last year. Placement percentage is 80-85%.
Fees and Financial Aid
College Fees: 76300 (for Gen/OBC/EWS candidate with family income >5lakhs). 34634 (for family income <5lakhs but >1 lakhs). 13800(for SC/ST/PWD and candidate with family income < 1lakh).
Campus Life
The annual fest is RECSTACY and the tech fest is AAROHAN. RECSTACY is organized in the month of March's last week or April's first week every year. There is a central library of 1.3 lakh books on our campus. You can study there or can bring books. There is also a decent sports facility, we have two grounds on campus 'Lords' and 'Ovals'. There are Music clubs, dance clubs, Drama clubs, Robotics clubs, EDC, ISTE, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is mandatory for all the students, triple shared room is given for all B.Tech students. Meals are not good but you can survive. The hostel is affordable. Hostel caution money is 5k(refundable, but in reality, you won't get it). In the 1st and 2nd year, you will be in the same hostel, in the 3rd and 4th year the hostel will be changed respectively.
Admission
Eligibility: You should have clear JEE MAINS to get into this college with a decent rank. you should have 75% marks or an 80 percentile score in 10+2. Application Procedure: After the JEE(mains) result you have to appear in JOSAA counseling, here you have to make choices, then if you have enough rank to get a seat then a seat will be alloted to you. You can find all the important dates and Fee details on the JOSAA official website. Reservation Benefit: You have to show your original documents as proof of your caste respectively. Cut off: For Computer Science brunch cut off in 2023. Home State - 12851, Other State- 10070 (upto JOSAA 6th round).
