Course Curriculum Overview
12th standard physics created an interest in electrical engineering. So I took it. The Faculty: Student ratio is 1:4. More than 90% of the professors are Doctorate. Not all but most of them have good teaching skills. There are CA1(15 marks), Mid-term (25marks) and end-term (60marks) in a semester. It is not that difficult to pass if one sincerely studies. The tough department is very strict about attending classes, labs, etc.
Internships Opportunities
There are so many companies that visit the campus every year to provide internships to third-year students. Most of them provide PPO after the Internship. JPMC, Salesforce, Microsoft, Bajaj Auto, CESC, and Texas Instruments are some companies that provide internships on-campus.
Placement Experience
Placement is increasing year by year. More than 80% of students get placed every year. The highest package offered in 2023 was 57 lpa. The average package is also good. It is around 13.5 lpa. Some PSUs like BPCL and Bharat Electronics visit the campus for recruitment. Other Major recruiters are Microsoft, Wipro, JPMC, Texas Instruments, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Academic fees per semester are 62500. Tough scholarships are available based on family income. For income more than 8 lakh per year no scholarship. for 1 to 5 lakh per year 2/3rd of academic fees are waived and for less than 1 lakh per year full academic fees are waived.
Campus Life
Life on campus is good. In the first year, there is some restriction, and after that sufficient freedom is provided to the student. If one wants to spoil his life by smoking and drinking that is also possible and if one wants to lead a healthy life that is also possible. There are 20 different types of clubs. There is a library on campus, and lots of books are available.
Hostel Facilities
3 students will be alloted a single room. Every student will be provided one bed, one almirah, one table, and a chair. Along with this internet, a facility is also available. Other than that facility of sufficient washroom and drinking water is available.
Admission
Took admission through JEE Main. There is a reservation for Gen-Ews, OBC-NCL, SC, ST categories and separately. There is a reservation for pwd candidates for each category. And also there is a 20% extra reservation for girls in each category.
