Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this CSE because back in my school days I was very fond of coding that why I had some interest in CSE already. That's why I chose this course. In this college, the faculty-to-student ratio is very good for 100 students you get 2 teachers for a subject average. The faculties of NIT Durgapur are highly qualified and well-trained. Almost all the faculties are Phd holders and some of them graduated from reputed foreign universities.
Internships Opportunities
Apart from the placements, the college also gives a platform to talent. There are many clubs and societies which is present in NIT Durgapur that give opportunities to singers, dancers, orators, and stage performers to showcase their skills and they also get the opportunity to participate at the national level.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario of NIT Durgapur is quite good. The average package offered last year was around 12 lpa. The average package of the CSE branch is around 21 LPA. so, this college provided a satisfactory package to the students. The highest package offered last year is 70LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is good and affordable for any middle-class family. And if any student whose family is having income less than 5 Lakhs then there are many provisions through which they can get a scholarship. And there are many different scholarships for female candidates. And too scholarship section of the college keeps sending notifications of the ongoing government scholarships.
Campus Life
There are many kinds of fest that happen on campus like ecstasy. The library has thousands of book collections and virtual libraries too. In the sports scenario, our college lags in some areas as there are not many good environments for sports.
Admission
firstly, you need to clear the national level exam called JEE (joint entrance exam). After clearing the cut-off of this college you need to go through a councelling procedure named JOSAA and CSAB after that according to your rank and preferences you will be allowed to some college and branch.
