Remarks

It was a fairly nice experience as I could make a great bunch of friends. But the crowd was below my expectations as they were all behenjis and mostly from bihari and uttar pradesh. They formed the majority majorly and deteriorated the college crowd

Entrance Preview

No such entrance or interview process.i never had to clear a Y entrance exam or any Uchiha interview. We just had to score a certain percentage and bingo you got the admission

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The teaching was up to the mark with professors being well versed in their fields, had a plethora of knowledge but there weren't any modern aids or teaching methods that were involved. It was more theoretical than practical. Used to get boring at times in the small dingy classrooms with broken desks.

Internships Opportunities

I am not aware of any such internship or anything being provided by the college as I did not have the opportunity to get any nor did any of my friends had any such luck. I think it doesn't or may be it did not at that time

Placement Experience

1

When I didn't get the opportunity to work, how an issue supposed to tell you my package and all other details. This question is irrelevant to me. I don't know how to elaborate on something that is irrelevant in nature and does not concern you anyhow but I think the idea is fill up the space with 250 characters

College Events

1

The fest was the most awaited event of the college where singers were invited and they uses to be performed on that stage in the open ground. Once euphoria was called and the other time band of boys had performed where all the girls had gone berserk looking at the hot bods. But it used to happen during the day so was not that much fun as it could have been in the night

Fee Structure And Facilities

Daulat ram is one of the biggest colleges order Delhi university. The fee structure of Delhi University is very nominal as compared to the private colleges that have come up these days. It was I think, I. Between four thousand to five thousand rupees per annum which is peanuts these days. So yes it was very feasible and least bit expensive

Fees and Financial Aid

Nothing that I know of., but you would still want me to write a hundred words on something as stupid as this. I mean who would want to take a loan for a sum of five thousand rupees and that too annually. Come on you guys

Campus Life

1.5

There was no such thing as robotics or astronomy, we never went inside the lab, don't even know what it looked like. And what gender equality and all that crap when you know it's an all girls college and in tha name of boys we only had age old staff members who walked with a hunch in their backs.

Hostel Facilities

1

I can't say anything about the hostel facilities and it's canteen as I was a day boarder. And none of my friends had been to the hostel ever. In fact we never spoke to the college hostelers. But I can tell you about the canteen, it was a total mess, very bad quality of food with oil dripping from everywhere. The food quality was pathetic and had lizards and cockroaches in them. We stopped going to the canteen after initial few months

Alumni/Alumna

My batch mates were quiet helpful and cheerful lot, but never really ran into them for any help requirements whatsoever. I mean what help could they actually offer instead of just giving directions and all

Exam Structure

Exams used to happen only once a year in the month of April to may. It used to be a month long process with lots of breaks and preparatory holidays bit what we mostly did was not study but chill. Who studies when you have soo many offs. So it was a very relaxed process where many girls used to make chips for cheating and I think we had a internal making system also which accounted for I think 25 marks. The entire paper was of 100 marks though and had to be completed in three hours.

Admission

It was a very lengthy process, had to go to the college to procure the form, again go for checking the list and then finally stand in queues to block your seat. Professors were not at all helpful, there was no student help desk, had to run from pole to pillar to submit the fees at one end and the recipt at the other. I didn't even get back my security deposit stating that I wasn't eligible for it. The staff was that of a typical government office who just wanted to bask in the sun and do nothing

Faculty

4

Faculty as I said earlier was very brilliant and we'll versed in their respective fields. They had proper required qualifications to be a professor at Delhi university, they had to live up to their name obviously. So they were aptly qualified to whatever the requirements is for working at Delhi university.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
