I had an interest in computer languages from a very early age and nowadays it's one of the most trending branches, that's the reason I chose this course. The student-to-faculty ratio is fine for me there are many Professors in each lab to help us out. The qualifications of the professors are pretty good, all the professors are PHD holders and are very experienced and teach very nicely. The timing of the exams was pretty on the spot and the difficulty was not very high and just right.

For now, I'm in my 1st year so I don't have much knowledge about companies and roles offered under internship. For our 4th year, the faculties give proper projects to ensure understanding of the topics and clarity of the required tasks

From the 3rd year, all the students become eligible for campus internships and from 4th year all students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that visit the campus for placements are BPL, Microsoft, JP Morgan etc and most students get placement from the campus. The highest package that was offered last year was 70lpa and the average package of btech is 13lpa. The percentage of students that got placements is around 85 overall. For now, I don't have any plans after getting the degree and only want to have a job in a good company. Later my views may change.

The fee hike policy is non-existent here and the cost of the study is much less compared to other institutions and the quality of education is much better. For now, I'm in my 1st year so I don't have any job but due to my reservation, I have got financial assistance.

The name of the annual fest which is also our tech fest is called AAROHAN and it is the 2nd largest college fest in all of the northeast it is usually conducted in February - March. The library has a vast collection of books and it is sufficient for study and learning and research on topics. The classrooms are equipped with mics, speakers and big screens so that all students can listen, see and learn properly. For sports activities, we have extra physical classes and also there are sports days and competitions between multiple NITs. There are many clubs in our college which are run by students for exams EDC, Debsoc and many more which are all involved in different fields and our official college website is maintained by a tech club of students.

The facilities in our room are tables, chairs and a bed for each student and each room holds 3 students. All the rooms are quite spacious and therefore it's comfortable. The meal quality is good it's nutritious and healthy and the menu is very diverse so the students don't get bored eating the same thing again and again. The registration process for the hostel starts after the admission process. When we come for the 1st time they take hard copies of all our required documents check them and register the candidate for the hostel. The hostels are very affordable for each semester(6 months )they take 24000/-. I am staying in the hostel and inside the campus so I don't know much about the locality.

For eligibility, the candidate should have cleared JEE MAIN with a good score, and for the admission process the candidate should first apply for the official JOSAA counselling and through it apply to this college. After that the admission process in the college in our case was completely online and the process was pretty simple the people for the admission were very helpful. My reservation was that of SC and it benefited me for getting the top branch here. For now, I think the admission process is pretty simple and I have nothing to say about improving it
