Course Curriculum Overview
Interested in this course of mechanical engineering 5:1 student need to improve Avg faculty and teaching methods Exams are kept close but not difficult to pass . Like if someone study for a week he/she will pass with ease

There are many companies like John Deere, Bajaj, caterpillar, pwc, delloite, BNY and 4-5 psu it varies every year the roles offered are Data analysis, Software Development engineer, GET , supply chain etc.

The total cost of study is 550k something spread over 4 years for gen candidate and 200k for SC/ST/GenEWS/PWD candidate There were seminars conducted for scholarships on campus job are given through campus

Name of annual fest is Recstacy and tech fest is Aarohan Good amount of books and journals are available Good amenities present Inter NIT sports is conducted between NITs There are many like Prakriti .
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are old style but it's not the room u see you see the vive. The vive of the hostels of NIT Durgapur is excellent. Meal quality is 6 out of 10 As it is a old hostel so the affordable is high they only charge for mess food fee hostels are kinda free
Admission
The admission process was a bit lengthy, the cutoff for NIT Dgp for gen 96 percentile, for SC candidates be around the 85 percentile, for ST candidates it will be around the 78 percentile for OBC it will be kinda 92-95 percentile to get a department. Eligibility is 75% in boards for Gen and 65% for SC/ST.
