Course Curriculum Overview
My intrest for technology was the reason to chosse CSE branch . Student to Teacher ratio is quite good , for every subject more than one faculty is avilable . All the faculty are Phd degree holders , and passed out from well reputed colleges and university all across the world . And their teaching method is very good . Semester exams happen twice every semester one being mid sem another being end sem exams , which are quite easy to pass but challenging to top in it .
Internships Opportunities
There are various companies that came to offer internship for job roles of SDE , SRE , GET , MT etc , various company visit for this purpose such as Microsoft , Wells Fargos , Mathworks , JPMC , accenture , TCS etc .
Placement Experience
For placement final year students are eligible that is from our 7th semester and for internship it starts form 5th semester . Various compaines visit campus for freshers such as Microsoft , Wells Fargos , Oracle , JPMC , TCS etc . Package can vary from 4LPA to 55 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is quite affordable for major of the students . Many of the students are able to pay fee without any problem where as some opt for low interest loans . NIT Dgp also provide wide range of scholarship , placement and internship opportunites for everyone .
Campus Life
Campus life is quite amazing , we have one tech fest named AROHAN and one cultural fest named RECSTACY every year along with some small food fest every year . Along with that clubs organise various activity and events time to time . There is alson a wide range of sports & extra curricular activities like volleyball , football , cricket , dance , singing , act play etc .
Hostel Facilities
In our hostel we mainly get our single person bed , one chair , one study table and one cupboard for each person . Rooms also consist of enough fans and light . Water purifier is also close to our rooms and toilet and bathroom are also cleaned everyday . Meals we get are quite edible nothing to brag about it but once in a while we get some finger licking good food .
Admission
The eligibility for CSE branch at NIT Dgp is above 99 precentile in JEE Mains for general wheras for st it is 95 percentile . To apply for JEE Mains candidates needs to register for JEE Mains in NTA website , registration date have deadline 2 month prior to the exams and registration process cost Rs 1000/- for general whereas for st/sc it is Rs 500/-. JEE Mains have reservation of quota for st and sc candidates of around 7.5% and 15% respectively which is benifical for those reserved candidates since it candidates are competing among same reserved candidates rather than genral public . Admission process is quite simple for students and it won't require any major improvments .
