Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our college is renowned for its curriculum, which I would confidently rate as a 8 out of 10 for its relevance and comprehensiveness. Crafted by experts within our institution, it includes supplementary technology-related activities that greatly benefit students in their academic pursuits. With a two-semester system in place, each semester is punctuated by a solitary midterm exam. Consistent attendance in lectures and diligent daily work ensure that these exams are easily navigable for students.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The process for securing an internship depends on your preference—whether it's a research internship or an industrial one. For industrial internships, companies typically visit the campus during your third year. You would apply for internship positions, undergo tests, and if successful, get selected. On the other hand, if you're interested in a research internship, the process is a bit more complex...

Placement Experience

4

Upon completing the 5th semester, students become eligible to participate in campus placements, overseen by the Career Development Center situated within the campus premises. Over the years, our placement percentages have demonstrated remarkable consistency, boasting rates of 98.88% in 2020, 88.3% in 2022, and 95.97% in 2023. Leading recruiters include renowned companies such as TCS, IBM, Google, Infosys, Adobe, and Amazon, among others. The median salary packages for undergraduate (UG) four-year degrees have shown variation, with figures of 6.4 lakhs in 2020, 7.98 lakhs in 2021, and 6.8 lakhs in 2022. While a significant portion of our students opt for placements, there is also a considerable number who choose to pursue higher studies, including MTech or MBA programs, to further enhance their career prospects.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college maintains a consistent tuition fee structure across all branches and academic years, with fees set at 62,500 INR per semester and a total of 5 lakhs for the entire duration of the graduation program. Initial semester fees are approximately 1,15,000 INR, gradually decreasing to around 83,000 INR for subsequent semesters. These fees cover various expenses including hostel charges (7,000 INR), mess fees (20,000 INR), and additional charges for medical, library, and computer facilities. Students have access to education loans, readily available to support their academic endeavors. Despite the absence of on-campus part-time job opportunities, the college provides scholarships based on merit as well as reservations, such as the All India National Scholarship and the Vivekananda Scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The campus experience at our college is truly remarkable, offering top-notch facilities despite its modest size. We take pride in our infrastructure, which includes three auditoriums suited for various events, two outdoor playgrounds for recreational activities, and the SAC auditorium—an indoor stadium for larger gatherings. Additionally, the presence of a serene duck pond adds to the peaceful atmosphere, creating a perfect spot for relaxation, especially during the evenings. One of the standout features of our campus is the extensive library, housing an impressive collection of over one lakh books and providing students with access to high-speed WiFi round the clock. With its flexible operating hours from 5 am to 10 pm, the library accommodates the diverse study schedules of students, ensuring they have ample resources at their disposal. Besides academic endeavors, our college is also known for hosting a variety of sports events, including Inter NIT tournaments, Hit Hall tournaments,

Hostel Facilities

3.5

During their initial two years at the college, male students are assigned accommodation in either Hall 11 or Hall 14, while female students are housed in Hall 10, and international students are accommodated in Hall 12. The first-year hostels are furnished with modern amenities and infrastructure, although there is a noticeable decline in quality in the subsequent years. Initially, three students share a room for the first three years, after which each student is allocated a single room. Room facilities include three tables, lamp lights, lockers, two fans, and three cots without mattresses. Recreational facilities available on campus include badminton and table tennis courts, as well as chess and carrom boards for students to unwind and relax. However, the quality of food served in the mess is below par, with a repetitive weekly menu throughout the semester, posing a challenge for students, especially those from South India. Thankfully, students have the option to explore nearby restau

Admission

Firstly, it is required to attain a minimum of 75% marks in the 12th board examinations. The admission process is straightforward. To begin, one must take the JEE MAINS exam and achieve a favorable percentile. Based on the college's cutoff, admission can be secured. The application fee for JEE MAINS is 1000 INR for OC, 800 INR for OBC, and 500 INR for SC/ST and other categories. Essentially, JEE MAINS requires a strong foundation in basic concepts. Proficiency in problem-solving makes the exam feel moderately challenging, in my view.

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
