Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Our university boasts a stellar academic program, earning a commendable 9 out of 10 rating. Crafted by in-house scholars, the curriculum integrates supplementary technological pursuits to enrich students' learning experiences. With biannual semesters and a single midterm assessment per term, diligent attendance and consistent coursework engagement render the midterms easily manageable.

Internships Opportunities

3

The availability of internships varies depending on the desired focus, whether it be in research or industry. In the case of industrial internships, companies visit the campus during the third year. Interested students undergo an application process, including assessments, and those who meet the criteria are typically selected without much difficulty. However, for those pursuing research internships, the process tends to be more intricate and involved.

Placement Experience

3.5

Upon completion of the 5th semester, students become eligible to partake in campus recruitment drives facilitated by the Career Development Center. The placement statistics have remained consistently impressive, with rates reaching 98.88% in 2020, 88.3% in 2022, and 95.97% in 2023. Renowned corporations including TCS, IBM, Google, Infosys, Adobe, and Amazon actively recruit students from our institution. The median salary for undergraduate (UG) four-year programs stood at approximately 6.4 lakhs in 2020, 7.98 lakhs in 2021, and 6.8 lakhs in 2022. While a significant portion of students opt for campus placements, others may choose to pursue advanced studies such as MTech or MBA programs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees at our institution remain consistent across all disciplines and academic years, standing at 62,500 INR per semester and 5 lakhs for the entirety of the undergraduate program. Initial semester expenses total approximately 1,15,000 INR, followed by subsequent semesters averaging around 83,000 INR. These costs encompass hostel accommodations priced at 7,000 INR, a meal plan costing 20,000 INR, as well as additional fees covering medical, library, and computer resources. Students have access to streamlined educational loan opportunities. While on-campus part-time work options are limited, the university provides merit-based scholarships along with reservation-based awards such as the All India National Scholarship and Vivekananda Scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus ambiance at our institution is truly remarkable. While not sprawling, the infrastructure is of the highest caliber. Boasting three distinct auditoriums, two outdoor recreational areas, and the impressive SAC auditorium, our campus even features a serene duck pond, ideal for unwinding in the evenings. Our library stands out as a hub of knowledge, housing over one lakh books and offering high-speed WiFi connectivity. Operating from 5 am to 10 pm, it accommodates diverse study schedules. Beyond academics, the college hosts an array of sporting events including Inter NIT tournaments, Hit Hall competitions, and inter-branch contests, inclusive of eSports. The vibrant club scene includes technical societies like GLUG, RECurrison, Math and Tech, CCA, SAE, IEEE, ISTE, alongside cultural groups like Strokes, Dance, Music, and Prakrit. Festivals such as E-SUMMIT, AAROHAN, AAVISHKAR, and RECSTACY punctuate the academic calendar, infusing excitement into campus life throughout the yea

Hostel Facilities

3.5

During the initial two years, male students are accommodated in either Hall 11 or 14, while female students reside in Hall 10, and international students are allocated to Hall 12. The first-year dormitories are adequately furnished, although there is a decline in quality in subsequent years. For the first three years, rooms are shared by three students, transitioning to individual rooms in the fourth year. Amenities include desks, lamps, lockers, fans, and cots without mattresses. Recreational amenities encompass badminton and table tennis courts, as well as chess and carrom boards. However, the dining hall fare falls short, with a repetitive weekly menu, posing challenges for students hailing from South India. Fortunately, nearby eateries such as DFC and Wondercafe offer alternative dining options. First-year students are subject to campus restrictions and are not permitted to leave the premises without prior authorization.

Admission

To get into college, you must do well on the JEE Mains test. The cost to apply depends on your category: 1000 INR for OC, 800 INR for OBC, and 500 INR for SC/ST. You also need to get at least 75% in your 12th board exams. Having good problem-solving skills is important for doing well on the JEE Mains, which is an average difficulty test if you have a strong understanding of the basics.

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
