Course Curriculum Overview
The course has vast career opportunities and will prepare you well for competitive-level examinations (UPSC). The aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course were the various studies of public administration, ancient statecraft studies, Eurocentric approaches, International Relations and a brief study of political theories of Karl Marx, Liberalism, Feminism, postmodernism, etc. This course opens many opportunities and the examinations are moderately difficult focusing mainly on teaching the basics. We have 2 mid Semester exams and two final exams in an academic year. The curriculum gives a close study of the politics, foreign policy, administration, and public policy that we can apply in our daily findings. The teaching methods are very interactive but could include on ground research studies, conducted in groups.
Placement Experience
Over 40 top companies like Unstop, Teach for India, GSC and Associates, Big Boy toy, Fioak, etc and more offered various profiles in marketing, finance, and many more with stipends up to 1.5 L and CTCs over 10 LPA. 1500+ students from all over Delhi joined. The eligibility criteria for companies varied, students from all years could avail themselves of opportunities in various NGOs and companies. The key opportunity was given to students of economics or commerce background based on the job profiles. I want to pursue a masters degree in International Relations from JNU, Delhi becoming eligible for PHD in IR and going for NAT-JRF examination after my masters.
