College facilities education is very good everything that is required is present there it is good college.
Entrance Preview
I took AIEEE i scored AIR of 6100 and got a seat in NIT DGP chemical engineering i had options of civil metallurgy and Chemical available to me i could have chosen NIT Silchar or Rourlela which were available to me.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course contained all the detailed subjects of chemical engineering from Fluid dynamics chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, transport phenomena, etc also there was mathematics till 5th semester.
Internships Opportunities
College does not offer any stipend for internship i did my intern in ONGC as well as IIT Kharagpur but received no incentive. Normally we have to approach companies for internship rather than companies coming for internship.
Placement Experience
College in our batch had a placement percentage of 180% almost every student got a job and 80% had two job offers the average package was approx 4.5 LPA.
College Events
College celebrated a technical festival, a cultural festival and literary festival as such there are many groups which organise their events at various time of the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is very cheap being NIT i paid 13500 per year for lodging and teaching mess cahrges are extra as such it is very cheap compaerd to the facilities.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there was some small scholarship faciliteis but not many as such fees is low so scholarship may not be requied.
Campus Life
There was a gender ratio of 15% girls in campus lots of events, workshops going on by Maths and Tech Club, Literary circle, Aarohan team etc CAmpus is very lively.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was good mess food was ok but not very good there are lots of cheap food joints which serve good food.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumis network is strong but not very active for college benefits they meet outside and in college but there involvement in college needs to be improved.
Exam Structure
There is a semester system for examination every six months we do have examination and there is a grading system.
Faculty
Faculty of the college is generally very goodand keep a healthy environment of learning all the professors, lectureres are PHD they have a large experience of teaching as well as junior faculties were very cooperative.
