- The increased control and strictness of the principal and admin over the students which decreased the freedom of students to act freely
- The attendance criteria which says there should be 67% attendance else will be barred from examination
- The increased role of politics in the college which makes the college atmosphere bitter
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is nice and it gives various opportunities to the students so that they can explore different genres of literature and literature include American literature 19th century literature plays poems and the curriculum is also very smartly designed the curriculum is efficient enough which prepare the student to face the real world and there should be a feedback form at the end of every semester to tell the teachers of the shortcomings so that they improve themselves and the exams happened twice a year
Internships Opportunities
Google, HDFC ,DELOITTE and KPMG are some of the companies that come to Hindu College and their are internship opportunities for students from the university called the VC internship scheme and various other schemes
Placement Experience
The placement of a student depends on his or her skills individual and the college does not guarantee any placement it completely depends on the student if someone is good enough in his or her field then he or she able to get a good placement and the people who are getting placed have moderate percentage and the companies with come to the college are not that much my plan is to pursue UPSC after the degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike is not much it is between 500-1000 Rs as as we all know that it is a government institution the entire fees of the college will be one lakh rupees including all the charges of three years and rent is extra.
Campus Life
Mecca is the name of the annual fest of Hindu College and it is basically held in the months of April to May it is rest of 2 to 3 days depending on the situation and the college also has a very developed infrastructure providing student all the basic necessity which are required and the library is also with all the required book and the classrooms are also well maintained and one can also take admission in Hindu College one can manage his student life with the social groups and Society if he or she can manage his time efficiently
Admission
Eligibility is only that you should be able to pass the cutoff my score was 736 out of 800 and I belong from an SC background and I gave CUET UG under NTA and we have to apply for it then we have to apply on the DU portal respectively exams happen twice a year and difficulty level is moderate the authorities should be punctual about the time limit to avoid loss of time of student
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 3:50 which is decent compared to the other colleges of Delhi University and the teachers enjoy teaching and is experienced in their respective fields and teacher are very open minded and are easily approachable which is a good quality I would say
