- Campus, was well maintained. Creative elements that also promotes environment sustainability, all basic facilities available, cleanliness and aesthetic campus
- The cultural spirit of the college is great , there is always an event going adding to the richness of college experience.
- Staff and admin are very cooperative and helpful and always there to assist students. Unlike other government college, DRC staff is really committed to providing help you to all it's students.
Dislikes
- Classes get cancelled often in the beginning of the semesters usually because of various reasons.
- Internal assessment of DU is not as rigorous as it should be , especially In my batch .
- Less exposure as compared to CO-ed colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very well structured, each semester brings a new area of study in the field without any burden. The course is not very rigourous but just right , perfect for honours. By the end of the degree , we pretty much have sufficient knowledge about the field of philosophy and get a comprehensive idea about it
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides timely and in depth information about all sorts of concessions and scholarships available to the students through noticeboards and official groups as well as websites , there are assigned staff to each department that assist students for the same. Otherwise too , the fee is nominal and the facilities are exceptional. DRC is a great choice for your academic journey .
Campus Life
There are various societies in the college like debsoc, poetry society, art society, dance and music and much more , there is also compulsory participation in NSS / NSO/ NCC that helps students with better social contribution and add to their overall development. There are various events and fests , talks and counseling sessions , tours etc that enrich the social aspect of campus experience.
Admission
I am from 2021 batch , I opted for admission in the first cut off list itself. The admission process was very easy and smooth. The college administration ensured that mails were timely responded so that students do not face any difficulty for the same. There weren't any aspects of the admission process that I'd say i did not like because my over-all experience was good
Faculty
The faculty is very qualified, all professors are great teachers and also continuously engage in promoting all round education and welfare of their respective departments which keeps the spirit of growth and learning alive in the college. There are various faculty led intiatives and centres that add to the college' overall reputation and prestige
