Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very well balanced and this is one of the reasons why I chose this college. They provide a very balanced and practical approach to students as in teaching through ppts and providing practice for each and every subject that requires practice and practical knowledge.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course is yes a very expensive one even though it's a self financed course under Delhi University. If we look for same course in Mumbai then the course fee is still 60000 but here it's exactly the double of it. As for scholarship and financial assistance I am not well aware about it.
Campus Life
Every year there is a college fest named- Shruti and then there are different department fests my departments fest is called as lights, camera and action. The societies of our college are very active specifically the drama society, the Indian and western dance society and the fashion society(unofficial) are very active. Then there is annual sports day and inter college sports competitions happening every now and then.
Admission
The elegibility criteria for the admission was through Cuet -ug which was mandatory and really important for the admission process. The marks of any language + a core subject + general test were considered while admission and if I remember correctly the cut off for the same was 350 not sure though. I liked the process of admission through CUET as there were no biases regarding marks then.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio has been balanced really well but what lacks I think is the experience of faculties and yes political association in the process of recruitment of staff plays a very significant role. Some teachers always seem to be unapproachable due to their behaviour and theur personality.
Other Applied Colleges
Institute of Home Economics | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Journalism)
The infrastructure and facilities were not good.
