Good but need improvement

The college needs to be improved much. The management here is not so good.

This is a pretty old college with experienced faculty and good placement records. The particular department which chose was established in 1960. So the faculty here are much experienced and. I thought that college which is well established is much important that department. So I chose this college

The course curriculum followed by the college needs to be improved. The curriculum contains all the theory subjects but the experimental based subjects are less. We can choose an open elective in 7th and 8th semesters and also a department elective in the 7th and 8th semesters. But these are not taken seriously by the students and faculty.

Yes, our college provides internships in the third year. The internship opportunities are more for the IT and CSE guys compared to the other departments. Till now Amazon, Microsoft, l&t, Jindal steels, and some other companies gave internships. The stipend ranges from 20,000 to 60,000 based on the company.

The placement opportunities are very good. The average salary is nearly 6.5 lakhs and the highest salary of this year is 39 lakhs. The placement percentage is also very good. The placement percentage for every department ranges from 75 - 90 percent. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, HPCL, Jindal steels, L&T, Novartis, Reliance, and many other companies came to campus. This year the highest salary is given by Microsoft for 7 students.

Our college conducts three major fests in a year. Aavishkar this is a technical fest of our college. Aarohan this is the tech-management fest. Recstacy this is the cultural fest of our college. We can find active participation from other local colleges in these fests.

The fee structure is very feasible. As it is a central government funded institute, the fee per semester is nearly 10,000 for students whose income is below one lakh and for sc/st category students and 30,000 for students whose income lies between one lakh to five lakhs and it is 60,000 for students whose income is above five lakhs.

I didn't avail any loans but the loan facility is available in the college. It is provided by all the banks but SBI is the most preferred one. There is no special scholarship provided by the college.

The campus life is good if we are good it solely depends on us. The gender ratio is very less it is nearly 1:10 for girls to boys. But it is improved now as the government gave reservations. Sports competitions are held every year. Debates, robotics, quizzes etc are held many clubs which are present in college.

The hostel facilities for the first year is good but it gets worst in the second, third and fourth years. The mess food not all good in the first year and it is much better afterward as it is students mess from the second year. They constructed a new hostel complex now so we are hoping our hostel facilities will be much better after allotment of the new hostel

Some of the senior students are helpful. They are helpful during the time of admission. Mainly during our placements and internships, they are much helpful.

The exam structure is simple. 50 marks end semester exam, 30 marks the mid-semester exam and 20 marks for internal assessment which includes attendance, assignments and class tests. The lab has a viva at the last and everyday lab performance will be taken into account. The schedule is very cool and very rarely we will have hectic days.

First I qualified JEE MAINS with 156 marks with an open category rank 22858. Then I applied in JOSAA for the admission and I got this college in the last round. For the admission process in college, we need to get all the documents which are asked in the college brochure and then the registration process takes place in a main academic building of the college.

The faculty here has good qualifications and degrees but only sone professors have good teaching skills. Many professors have great knowledge but their way of expression is worst. We can only find some professors in every department who are both knowledgeable and are of good teaching skills.
