University management is very good and helpful.They are are prenlsent to solve and lookafter the students issue and are always working in the benefits of the students just like most the non-profit institutions do as our UPES is on of then that nutures a great future for the students.

UPES provides specialization on various fields whether it is energy or information trchnology and its course curriculum along with the discipline and location is perfect for studies. Faculty of the university is always keen to help its student out of any sort of problems. I chose this univeraity because it is known for its Petroleum study and provides a great futire ahead.

Course curriculum of the university is very easy and student friendly. Starting from basics university is keen on building the knowledge of its dtudent and progresses slowly towards making a student learn the specified specialization with the help of highy qualified teachers that are always ready to help the students. Courses are being divided into credits on the basis of which geades are provided on a scale from 1-10 with passing criteria for each semester being 5 CGPA and from this year it will be 6 CGPA for betterment of students.

Yes college do privide internship with the reputed companis and hardworking students can easily get a stipend of around INr 3-4k.

Placements of the UPES is excellent with core comapnies like shell, Schlumberger, reliance etc. for NON CIT and larsen and touber, hcl, dell, Microsoft etc. visits regularly to hire the atudents. we focus on developing a world-class pool of young and talented professionals ready to hit the ground running in their respective fields. This year almost 70% students have been placed already and comapnies like Schlumberger and reliance are viaiting the campus in December and January respectively.

Urja- college fest in November Fresher party- in august/September Various guest lectures of reputed companoes and institutions to make students learn the challenges that we are going to face to make our country and ourselves a better person. Hackathon, decathon, various sports activities like cricket, football, basket ball, volleyball, badminton etc are held every year along with athletics.

Fee structure varies from branch to branch and its quite expensive but colleg do pay special attention to economically backward people and provide them the financial assistance. College do provide loan facilites at good rates and also provide scholarship to the students who are good in studies.

Yes college do provide scholarship to atudents who have 90% above in 12th and scores good in first two semesters of the year. College has partnered with Oriental Bank of commerce to provide loans to the student

Gender ratio is exceptional in UPES.Labs of the UPES are well equipped and highly modern equipments are present to assess and help the atudents for the academica. Sports facilities in UPES is exceptional with wach and every sport is present and tournaments are held wvery year for the students. Various robotics exhibition along with discussions and debates are held evwry year in the university.

Hostel facilites are good in the UPES and rooms of upes are well furnished equipped with fast wifi along with good security. Mess food is quite good with meals being served four times a day in morning, afternoon, around 5-6pn in the evening and at night.

Alumi and senior students have good interaction and relations as we ahve witnessed a lot of alumni visits every year to meet the faculty and senior students and share their experience and what the university has provided to them in each and every aspect of development.

Exams are conducted in two parts mid semester examination and end semester examination. Mid semester examination weightage is 20% and end semester examination weightage is 50% and rest 30% is of internals for which attendance along with assignment, discipline conduct and class test are assessed.

I gave UPESEAT exam which is being conducted every year all over India. Questions asked in the paper were moderate as per once knowledge and if one has been thorough throughout his 11th and 12th can score good. I was selected for the counselling and was confident of geeting applied petroleum engineering as my rank was between 1500-2000. I attended the counselling in delhi was eventually saw myself through to applies petroleum enginnering branch amd started my journey.

Faculty of the university is highly qualified. Most the faculty in the university are either Iitians or students of reputed institutions with great experience of teaching and student handling. They are always ready to help the students in understanding the concepts and are present for solving every problem that a student face.
