Course Curriculum Overview
Economis I felt something that suits my style of play and that was the reason I chose this course. From macro to micro the sectors which are at the top are discussed in our syllabus. I was surprised to know that Arms and Armament are the largest industry in the world. So our curriculum is an eye opener for everyone as its all economics and nothing else. Be it international relations or domestic trade it's all economics.
Placement Experience
After having such rigorous academics if jobs weren't available the students would have depressed. However, it's not the case as many financial institutionsn have taken care of students of our branch. ICICI Lombard and The American Express are top companies and besides that there are over 50 companies that provides placements to nearly 70% of the students or BA Economics.
Fees and Financial Aid
BA Economics is one of the crowdiest branch and still the fees is such a negligible amount. It is 26870 for me as I fall under general category. I don't know much about the fees of the other students but it is certainly lesser. However Hindu College has a tradition of providing prizes and scholarships to the top students of every stream. For our stream it's Shri Bhisab Sarup Bansal Memorial. Whoever wins it gets entire fees waiver.
Campus Life
College location is just too good as Vishwavidyalaya metro station is just one and a half miles from our college. So commuting and traveling to college at any point is so easy. The college has two canteens one is small and the other one is humongous. Our annual fest is Mecca and besides that we have sports fest too.
Admission
Honestly my entire group of all 8-10 girls wanted to go to Hindu College. Yes every girls dreams of going to LSR but I always wanted to do my graduation from a college that is co-ed. For my course the cut off of CUET for the Hindu College was 733 and luckily me and all my friends stood eligible as we had a score better than that.
Faculty
As mentioned before that the most notable alumni of DU are teaching at the Hindu College. Lovely would be definitely an understatement for them as they don't just mentor and guide but stands tall with students issues that happens at the campus every now and then.
