Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is great for students those who focuses on placements and internship. Like companies visit in our college during fifth sem so the college curriculum is designed such that all the topics that could be asked in the interview are covered before 4th sem Same goes for placements. There is two exams in one semester which is midsem and endsem Rest the 15 marks depends upon the professor, how they wanted to give that 15 marks.

Internships Opportunities

5

Some of companies that came for summer internship are Microsoft: 125000 stipend Texas : 60000rs stipend Jpmc : 75000 rs Bny : 75000 Cisco : 98000 Apple came for the first time in our college this year for winter internship They gave 90000 rs as stipend. Ppos are also offered depending upon the performance of the Student during internship.

Placement Experience

5

In 2024 75% of the students fot campus placement rest choose to opt for further studies and offcampus placements. Major recruiting bodies include Microsoft Google texas instruments reliance, apple and many more. Like in 2023 Microsoft recruited 38 students from our college with a package of 55 lacs. 26 students got offers from JPMC for about 18lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is increasing 2000 rs per year. Fee structure for 2021 batch For obc/NCL and general : 76300 per semester For sc/st and those whose family income is less than 1 lac : 13000 per semester For those whose family income is between 1 lac and 5 lac : 34000 per semester For income greater than 5 lac : 76300 per semester For foreign national and NRI it can go upto 3lac per semester.

Campus Life

5

Infrastructure is very old because our college is from 1960s but overall college life is great You get ample amount of time for yourself Academic stress is negligible here but you should focus more into studies inorder to get a good package. There are many clubs in our college ranging from technical to cultural of different different domains. You should try to get atleast in one club because it changes the overall look of you.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is very outdated Some hotels have good mess whereas some hostel just give food for the sake Older hostels have nice mess whereas newer hostels have good infrastructure but bad food. Everyone has to opt for hostels irrespective where you home is. Hostel are affordable and the hostel fee is included in the Overall fee which is I guess should be 9000 persemester

Admission

I choose this college because here the academic pressure is very less when compared to other NITs and IITs , in that case you can get ample amount of time for yourself, so generally here students focuses upon themselves, Many students undergo research under different different professors. The admission process is through Jee mains and then josaa counselling. College life and clubs are also very good in this college.

Faculty

4

Students to faculty ratio is my department is great it's 1:5 Most of the professor had done their PhDs from IITs and that's why they promote research. Some of the professor are also engaged in foreign funded and govt funded projects. Exams structure is as follows Endsem : 60marks Midsem : 25 marks Ca1 : 15 marks

Night Life

4

There is one gym in our college but it's very outdated with poor quality. There are 14 hostels in our college out which 9 are for boys and 5 are for girls In bTech everyone has to share room with two other students irrespective of year in which you study. Some hangout spaces include junction, benachitty etc.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
