Students who want to opt for Msc in economics should have idea about the basics of economics and maths to navigate well with the curriculum. The syllabus of 1st and 2nd semester has been prepared to dwell deep into the cores of economics. From the 2nd year or 3rd semester you get to pick your specialization amongst Data analysis, Finance, International Trade, Developmental Studies, and Urban Studies. The Course itself will be taught in a manner to keep you updated with the job necessities and requirements. Extra value added courses are also added to enhance your learning in every possible manner. Exams are semester wise. With relative grading system.

Fees for each semester is - 1,27,500 Thus making it - 2,55,000 each year. In your 2nd year of Master's there will be specialisations. Thus only if you opt for Data Analysis the fees will rise to double of what you pay. Other specializations doesn't require any extra fee to be paid.

Symbiosis in it's name knows about the fests and the high cultural aspect of it. They don't just focus on preparing you for the job market but also let's you grow your extra curriculums as well. Through the festa and extracurriculars, students get real world exposures, gets creative as well as it broaden your horizon in every aspect of life. There are many clubs and groups focusing on different needs of the society and students. Library is decent with almost all availability of books. Events are happening on a day to day basis. But they make sure those doesn't harm your educational growth as well.

Being a general category student the cut offs went pretty high as well as the system of kota made it difficult for me to get a pass on various colleges those depended only on marks. But for symbiosis it's a fair play as they make there decision according to the interview round. Which makes the process fair and just.

Total number of students that they intake ranges from 100-120. The ratio of women are generally more than boys, might differ with every intake. There are few permanent professors for the core subjects. During the specialisation they might bring in different visiting professors for more insight. The professors are helpful in there own way. Each paper is for 200 marks which is divided between internals 120 and 80 external written exam. And the papers will be as such to test your concept and knowledge.

The college is situated in SB road which is very close by to the famous hub of Pgs is Gokhlenagar. Where affordable pgs and houses are being rented out. Availability of almost everything is in and around the campus. The famous FC road of Pune is just in 10 mins radius. The provision of gym is in the campus itself. The canteens are always full with a menu listing all of your favourites.
