- The infrastructure of the college is good.I would consider the college as very clean.
- The campus life is pretty good but there are strict instructions to freshers to not roam in the campus.

- I disliked the condition of the bathroom and the corridor on the first day.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very complex as well as relevant. I had very much interest in The physics subject in my 12 standard so that was one reason to opt electrical engineering ngineering.It would be good if they could reduce the exams frequency. Class tests are held almost every week.
Internships Opportunities
The companies that offered interships were Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm and JP Morgan and many more.The internship stipend was around 30-35k.The internships help students to get habitual to real time professional environment and projects done during internships help them to make their resume more stronger.
Placement Experience
From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.
Fees and Financial Aid
For first semester the fee is 1,11,100 rupees (including hostel and tution fee)excluding mess fee.The mess fee that was charged was 14,500 rupees.For the further semesters the (tution fees+hostel fee) sums to 90,600 rupees and mess charges are further applied.The mess food is not bad I mean it's eatable. Hostels are 3 seater and are sufficient enough for 3 persons.The bathroom has geiser and shower facilities.
Campus Life
The annual fest held at NIT DURGAPUR is AAROHAN held in the month of April every year.There are a total of 1.5 lakh books in our central library.The classrooms have projectors, air conditioners,fans and inclined benches.On sundays we are taught Taekwondo here.The campus includes all the sports facilities and there are clubs for all types of genre such as coding, music ,dance club ,etc.
Hostel Facilities
The room provides a single bed , a study table and an almirah.The meal quality is average.Sometime it's too good and sometimes not so good. But the mess food is eatable. The registration process for hostel was undertaken by the hostel warden and it was a quick and smooth process.
Admission
I didn't applied for any other colleges.The sole reason to get admitted in this college was the branch (Electrical Engineering -circuital branch) and the fact that NIT DURGAPUR is an INSTITUTE OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is approximately 10:1. Professor Arvind Choubey is our director and I liked him very much as his speeches and words inspired me very much.The professors are very nice there is not point to dislike them.Total of 2 exams are there in one semester - mid semester exam and end semester exam 5-7% students fail the exam.The curriculum is quite good we were taught C programming at the first day.
Night Life
The nightlife is quite good but we are not allowed to go out of the hostel after 11 pm.The library closes everyday at 9 pm.The gym is quite good and has all the necessary equipments.The nearest place to hangout is the City Centre which is approximately 1 km from our college. The locality is absolutely safe as security guards are awake all the night.
