The syllabus is well structured and covers both core fundamentals and emerging technologies.it provides a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure through labs, projects and electives.
Placement Experience
National institute of technology Durgapur had a good placement record. Every department has its own record but The average package of computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering is nearly 12 lakhs and remaining departments had a average package of 9 to 10 lakhs as they are recently accomodated in this college

Campus Life
The national institute of technology Durgapur is very well known for its annual fests . The north east second largest tech fest that is aarohan takes place here which is well known for for its technical exhibition. Different clubs like cca ,sae participate in this technical fest enthusiastically and tries to spread their roots in North India .even students from our college go to other iit and nit to learn more
Hostel Facilities
The room are in a very good condition like they have provided enough number of fans and they arranged the beds in a good manner so that the rooms are spacious . The mess food is very good as they provide the food according to the will of students from different regions of India for this mess committee was formed from different places to represent different states of people
Admission
The national institute of technology Durgapur is very good at core placement and faculty help students to get a clear clarity about concept and help them gain good knowledge not only theoretical but also practical.it has good nirf ranking in the engineering college list which made my mind to choose this college
Faculty
The faculty members at not Durgapur are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields most teachers are approachable and willing to clarity doubts . There are lab sessions minor or major projects and seminar to enhance practical knowledge and get a clear cut clarity about the theory concepts .there is no relative grading.
Night Life
The nightlife here is very pleasant and relaxing. We have a big ground where every Evening we play different games and not only games gym is also available which helps for physical fitness and mental stability. The night canteen here are very good as they are budget friendly.
