Course Curriculum Overview
Actually the 3 discipline core subjects are truly important and relevance to my course. However the skill enchantment course and value addition course, even EVS taught this semester barely helps. That sometimes even felt like a burden. Still choosing the right GE, major is useful. I enjoy that... going through.
Fees and Financial Aid
As Daulat Ram College is a government college, so surely it’s fee is way lower than private universities. It’s fees is same for general and OBC. It requires yearly fee payment of 32100 annually as in for Political Science Honours course.
Campus Life
As i said, i am a proud part of 3 societies of this college. This organises a lot of activities, seminar outside academics too. Recently a sports meet happened, a annual fest named manjari take places here every year. It's nice but there is honestly lacking in the infrastructure. Even one of the smallest campus in north campus yet with second largest auditorium.
Admission
Firstly ofc, the famous delhi university. At times even it’s name is enough! I actually like it being a girls only college... genuine seniors, for now trustworthy friends. They are making me feel like a belong here. I got in 3 societies also, displaying extra curricular engaging. This college for sure provides new opportunities to us too.
Faculty
There are 2 sections in Political Science Honours. There are 60 students in my class, we have 3 core subjects, and 1 SEC, 1 VAC, 1 GE and 1 AEC. One professor is assigned to classroom to teach a core subject. For my GE, psychology there are 3 teachers 1 is the main, taught us the half syllabus... other half is taught by another and for tutorial class students are divided into 2 groups, i taught by the main and other by separate teacher. They are genuinely helping and encouraging.
Night Life
There is a sports complex within the campus, me and my friends once signed the register and got badminton for some time to play with, it was fun. The main canteen pricing is really affordable. I admire the dogs roaming around, cute and the greenery! Outside college, students go to arts faculty to hang out, sudama tea stall and tom uncle maggi are good spots to eat. Patel chest is nearly, and many visit Kamala nagar, there taking bus is a good option. I didn't stay late at night, only till 5 or 5:30 at times not much people are there at that time, it has fine lighting, street lamps then. Still out, Delhi is unsafe actually.
