Course Curriculum Overview

5

My parents always wanted me to be an english professor in future which is why i chose this course and college. With my cuet score this was the best college i could ever get into. The faculty treats us like their own family. My Cuet score was quiet well but because of my family issues i had to join a girls college but thts the best decision of my life till date.

Internships Opportunities

5

Our college offers internship in most of the top rated companies like Hdfc, Delloite and what not. They have also run alot of projects that got successful. Some of my seniors also got permanent placements in these companies just after their internships. Our placement cell works really hard and the stipend is also about 5000-10000 varying the internship availed. One of my friends also availed internship in delloite that too at a stipend of 10000.

Placement Experience

5

Our placement cell provides us every detail about available internships. It also helps us to get every update about upcoming internships. Its my third year but ive seen people from commerce department getting pretty good internships at companies like hdfc, delloite that too with a nice amount of stipend near 8000-1000. My friends from other departments have got really well opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college offers various courses and the fees for my course is 32000 for two semesters. It is one of the top Colleges for my course in the north campus. It offers us knowledge and that too at a very affordable fees comparing to other colleges.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is absolutely awesome. Its the best decision of my life to be a student of drc. The campus is full of students here and there. Also the best part of our college is is library it has over 25000 books that too include everything that we need from course books to research papers. I sit there for hours and hours without realising the time. It feels so good. Our classes are fully air conditioned with smart boards in each class. The sports ground is so big that you can run all over. In winters the warm sunlight strikes the front lawn which makes it feel ethereal to sit there. Our College has a numerous number of societies. Even i myself am a part of the indian music society. We participate in diffrent competitions and our principle is so supportive that she provides us all the needies without even asking.

Admission

I applied for various colleges like hindu, ramjas, kmc, miranda house, lsr but daulat ram college has been the best and suitable college for me. my cuet score also suited it as well as my parents also wanted me to graduate from drc. and till date i dont regret my decision

Faculty

5

Our colleges gives us the feel of gurukul. Our teachers are so supportive, they always put attention to every aspect. They teach us with so much love and care that it gives the gurukul feeling. They are experienced professors, each of them has an experience for at least 10 years and they always ask about doubts and make things so easy for us to understand. My personal favourite is our literature profess miss sunidhi.

Night Life

5

The night life is cool. The trees and the lights there look so beautiful. Specially in winters , the campus and everything covered with fog and the lights dim makes it more beautiful. Everything looks etherial. Students usually hangout at sudama tea stall. There chai is so tasty that it takes all the stress away.My favourite place is the paratha hut outside our college. I absolutely love their Paneer Paratha god it is so tasty and that too with bistro's hot chocolate makes the tastiest combination ever. The winters make the campus more beautiful. Everything from paper to photocopy notes is available in our campus. The life is really good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
