Our class size is 18. We have one teacher as class teacher. In the first year, each semester has around 6-7 subjects for each we have faculties. Inshort there as appropriate facluty for students. Best faculties Inlcude Sunoj Sir, K C James Sir, Irshad Sir, Ambili Maam, Asha Maam, Ex-Vice chancellor of CUSAT Sankaran Sir and the list goes on. Every teacher holds a doctorate degree and are well experienced and are supportive. All the faculties are really good, there are no one i dislike. Exams doesnt feel like too tough though. Teachers are helpful in preparing for the test, they also help us to improve our performance in the next exams. In my class, total 18 students are there, there is no one failed during the whole Course duration. Since everyone is pretty smart in my class , no one has active backlogs. The course curriculum is upto date and very relevant.
MTech Program has a duration of two years including 4 semesters. In each Semester, the semester fee is around Rs 20,000 and examination fee is around Rs 4,000. In total a semester costs around Rs 25,000. During the first two semesters, we have regular classes. In the second year, it is completely dedicated for project and electives. Students can also do internship during this period. There are reservations for EWS, SC, ST , OBC, OBH, Muslims and so on. Major Seats comes under the general category. Students can avail scholarship such as Egrantz that covers 100 % of their fees which can be equally applied by students belonging to all categories. Other scholarship such as NSP scholarship is available, but none of the students from my class got this scholarship.
Events organised and conducted in the college is very less. As AMET is basically a maritime university, they are more strict in organising prorams so they have less events compared to other colleges. So more than a college life, we are feeling a school life in our college, as it is more strict department wise also.Library is there but books related to our field is not yet arranged. Our faculties told to us that they are trying their maximum to arrange library for us. We are hopefully waiting for that.
Course curriculum they are given is fine for the course. From my side one suggestion will be that, if they provide us with more exam based questions and materials it will more helpful for us to fac e the exams easily. As we are new to these subjects and all we have doubts in the way of presenting answers to get maximum marks. It will be fine enough if the syllabus is completed early and revision classes are given. Then i am sure that everyone will be able to score their best marks for exams.

I enjoyed my college life a lot. I make many new friends. I love being socialising with people. Here I find various opportunities to socialise. I am not much involved in clubs. For club you have to go outdoor. You will not find club in campus. Different extracurricular happen day to day life. University has its own two playgrounds. There are various societies are there in our university for every you want to explore.
Faculty are supportive with a good ratio of around 1:25, and most teachers are approachable. I liked Miss Pooja mam and this my favourite teacher for his clear teaching style. Exams are held semester-wise with internal + external marks and giving proper notes. The level is moderate, and most students pass if they study regularly.
Campus life is enjoyable and active. Annual fest like “Udaan” (Feb) and tech events are well organized. Library has good books and journals. Classrooms have projecter include but smart board not and no WiFi. Sports, clubs, and student groups help in overall growth and social interaction.
