I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

THE BIT MESRA CHAPTER

Likes

The canteens at bit mesra do not dissapoint me.
The girl to boy ratio is 4: 1 which is quite satisfactory.
The hostel accommodation is another thing not to complain about.

Dislikes

Infra of college is quite old and needs renovation.
The library of the college is not available for 24 hrs but for fixed time limit.
Bit mesra doesnt have a perfect boundary so the protection issue still lasts.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements for the circuital branches are very satisfying with a median of 18 lakhs and the noncircuital branches upto production engg suffice the needs . The branches bellow that are futile do not consider them.

The people, the place, the peace and the sky

The proffesors of ECE and placements they are a bit low.

Placement Experience:

Placements were good before covid. Then it detoriated a little. CSE, ECE, EEE, MECH, PROD have the placements mainly others have little low placements. After getting the degree I plan to go for MBA. Highest pakage was 1 CPA lowest being 2 LPA

A Comprehensive Review of BIT Mesra

Likes

BIT Mesra has a strong reputation which can positively impact our career.
The campus infrastructure is well maintained and the lush green environment adds to its appeal.
The Alumni network is pretty strong and the placements are also top notch for circuital branches.

Dislikes

Few of the faculties are strict and sometimes non-cooperative with the students.
The hostel and mess facilities are not up to the mark.
The administration and deans are also pretty scrict and there are several restrictions as well.

Placement Experience:

In our college, students become eligible for placements from 7th and 8th semester, i.e the final year of undergraduate program. The placements are very good. The highest package was 58Lpa and average is around 11.6Lpa. The average for CSE branch is around 22Lpa. Almost all of the companies visit BIT Mesra for on-campus placements and almost 80-90% of the students get placed.

But mesra has very vast domain for placements be it IT industry , production, logistics or higher studies. Other colleges often lack in non circuital branches placements but bit mesra is alike and has average placements of 10 lakh per annum

BIT Mesra: The good and the bad in turmoil, being a part of our lives.

Likes

Huge campus, club culture and amenities.
In campus placements are very good although they vary from year to year all over India.
Professors are mostly good, not all of them but most of them.

Dislikes

Course structure is very outdated and needs to be changed.
Although the campus is big, it is mostly jungle and it is in a very rural part of ranchi.
Initial investment or overall fee is quite high.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good with the average and median being 22 lpa and 18 lpa in my department. It is better than some NITs and many IIITs. If you get a good branch, you can come. It has a good percent of student placed above 90 percent. I plan on getting a job after btech, gain 2 years of work experience and do MBA.

Should you opt for QEDS in BIT Mesra?

My Department(QEDS): There's no issue for attendance.
Faculties are very friendly, even the HOD is a very chilled person.
Syllabus wise this is one of the best course out there even much better than CSE

Dislikes

Hostel facilities: They are not providing any single room facility.
Fests could have been more better but its okay.
Campus is in a very remote area but it is compensated given the campus is very beautiful.

Placement Experience:

• Form 3rd year onwards they can apply for placements and for internship they can apply from 2nd year. • Almost all the major companies visit here and offers packages ranging from 3 LPA to 58 LPA. • Previous year's highest package was 58 LPA and average was 13 LPA. • Amost all the students who apply for placement gets placed in better or worse companies but if your GPA is below 6.5 they won't even allow you to sit in the placements. • I am planning to go for the placements as a Data Scientist.

Campus life Is quite good in our college
Sports facilities provided by our college is up to the mark.
Food of our hostel is also quite good in our hostels for freshers

Dislikes

Rooms provided for first year student is quite small
The ece teachers except 2-3 are not good at all.
Wifi speed and quite slow and sometimes connection error also comes

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student become eligible for placement All type of software companies visit in your college but core companies visit a little bit less in our college Highest package is around 53 lakh and average is like 18 lakh for ece student Around 90 percent is student gets placed I will get job before getting the degree

The truth of my college

Likes

Infrastructure is quite good and every thing is well maintained.
Course curriculum is up-to-dated and professors are always ready to help.
Fests and students activities happens regularly.

Dislikes

Some restrictions are there like in time in hostel.
Hostels are too for away from academic buildings.

Placement Experience:

Placement statistics is constantly increasing in the college and the average and median salary offered is also increasing. Almost all big companies comes in campus placement and gives decent offers. Off campus opportunities are also available.

Likes

Hostel life : about 1.5 years of hostel life has taught me a lot in my life .
Fests : Recently we had Monali Thakur come to our campus for our annual Fest
Department : the professors here are supportive

Placement Experience:

Bit mesra despite being situated in a remote area is knows for its placements and internships . The average of this season has been around 14.7 lacs and many students have been placed in top nothc firms from tech to core industry.

I liked the campus life of this college and placement.

Dislikes

I disliked the faculty of some branches.

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college is very good. It's CSE branch average package is 27 LPA and ECE branch average package is 16 LPA. Last year here 3 students got the highest package of 84 LPA in the Atlassian company.
