I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

BIT Mesra- From the eyes of a first year student

Likes

Environment provided. The setting of the college is such that the students are away from the pollution and ruckus of the city.
Opportunity to upgrade branch in the first year. The students from lower branches can move to higher ones on the basis of their academic record.
Activities and festivals. There is something or the other always happening for the students organised by the various clubs.

Dislikes

The frequency of classes. The day becomes quite tiring for students on a daily basis.
Strict faculty. Some leniency can be shown by teachers.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite promising as of now. All the necessary details regarding the placements are available on the college website www.bitmesra.ac.in . I am currently a student of first year so i do not have much idea about placements other than the records on the website.

The college life and R.O.I is quite good

The placement stats of production and Industrial Engineering
The campus at BIT is a very lush green campus

Dislikes

The hostels are quite unmaintained and mess food is good

Placement Experience:

The placement of production was quite good but the one of cse has quite decreased this year. The overall avg. Package was quite decent. The placement for production was approx 100% and the clubs here are very productive.

Well structured electronics lab and other departments lab
Department focuses on research and all..
They have old but well defined building and sports complex

Dislikes

No culture for any activity, no support from the institute
No students are there in students council who could think in our interest and our point of view
The location is disgusting..which is the main drawback for the exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electronics sector is expected to boom in coming years and I have no other choice but to choose this course and go with this only.Let's see what's gonna happen in coming years .the teaching methods in most Indian college are the worst I will say they are still following the old curriculum and students have no choice but to follow. This is 2024 and ai has came up with lot of resources, this should be included in our syllabus and it should be make compulsory

The campus itself is seren and beautiful
The sports complex and gym facilities are pretty good
The faculty and the library are very good

Dislikes

It takes a lot of time to commute from places to places within the campus
It climate is humid and hot with rains for over 8-9 months a year

Placement Experience:

BIT Mesra boasts robust placement opportunities, commencing from the sixth semester. Renowned companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture visit, offering diverse roles in IT, consulting, and core engineering. The highest package offered reaches ?20 LPA, while the average package ranges between ?6-8 LPA. Around 85-90% of students secure placements annually. Post-degree, I aim to pursue a career in architectural design, aiming for roles in reputed firms to apply my skills and contribute to innovative projects.

One of the main things that i liked about the college were the placements stats. The amount of opportunities a student gets here are comparable to any top college of country.
The campus life of our college is also very lively. There are many scenic places to go to like the lake behind the campus.There is also a temple in the college.
The courses are also very well planned, suited to the current market trend. Our college tries to implement as many changes as required with the changing times.

Placement Experience:

The placements at BIT MESRA are very promising. The average package stood at 11.57 lpa and highest ctc was 51lpa. Companies like microsoft, amazon, salesforce, arcesium, atlassian, wells fargo and many others visited the campus in the 2022-23 session. There were a total of 982 offers from 192 recruiters.The highest packege was by microsoft at 51lpa. The percentage placement of the college was 76 with cse at 84%.The profiles of the high paying were sde roles.My plan is just to get job as of now.

I liked Sports facility very much all the best equipments are provided.
College fests are very good I enjoyed them a lot.
My course curriculum is something I enjoy studying

Dislikes

Administration is very strict I mean like ontime for girls is 9 pm and you cant go in each other hostels
Mess staff behaviour is very bad they talk rudely

Placement Experience:

The college placement are decent . After 6th semester students are eligible for the college placements . Companies like Amazon, google , tata steel , Cisco, etc visits college. About 80-90% of students gets placed . I'm planning for either cat or higher studies rather than placement.

Campus is surrounded by trees which makes is beautiful.
The campus is surrounded by river which makes it beautiful like heaven
Labs faculties and lab equipment are very good

Dislikes

Campus is very big making difficult to travel
Class timing is hectic my class starts around 8 am and ends around 5 pm
It is at corner of Ranchi which totally cuts it from main ranchi city.

I have chosen this college only because of its good placements. Here average package for computer science students is 20 lakh and if you see the average package of all the branches then it is around 12 lakh which is much greater than many nits .

All about Birla institute of technology mesra

Likes

The campus is very clean and beautiful,full of nature.
It is surrounded by a river which makes is more beautiful
Here labs facilities are very good almost all the equipment is present.

Dislikes

Due to big campus sige student have to travel far for attending classes.
Class timing are hectic. class starts from 8 am to 5 pm. .
Cricket opportunity are less here as compared to others sports.

Here fees are very High but placement are also very good.. currently the average package is around 12 lakh per annum for all the courses.if we see only cse then it is around 19 lakhs per annum.. I am in mechanical branch and around 10lpa average package is going on in my branch

Campus Experience here is just amazing when compared to other GFTI colleges.
The Overall Reputation and Image of college
Hostel Life and other things like Bitotsav and Fests.

Dislikes

Faculty , especially the electronics departments
Dean and administration. The Overall administration is very poor and do not coordinate with each other department.
Hostel and mess facilities. The fees are high but the overall quality is not good.

Students get eligible for placements in in their 6th semester ending.. There are many companies that come to BIT Mesra. Some of them are Qualcomm, Intel , Nvidia Etc . Highest offer till date made is around 1 cr. Generally 80 percent of students get placed per year. I plan to do GATE exam after Btech
