BIT mesra is a very well reputed college. It is well known for it's academics, has a very good infrastructure. The environment of the college is very good.The alumni network of the college is very good which also includes the current cm of Jharkhand.

BIT Mesra is ranked consistently among top engineering colleges in the country. This is the reason generally the crowd is good as top ranked students get into this. So one can find students from all over India with different talents and get to work with them. I feel students are the most significant push to BIT??s entry into the list of top engineering colleges. Now coming to faculties they are above average at best. Some are very good but ya as they say ??? Exceptions are not rules??. Mostly they teach you rote stuff and classes are pretty boring. BIT is generally strict with attendance, exams and assignments. Academic load is more compared with other NIT??s and closely ranked colleges. One needs to be sincere in theory as well as lab to score a good GPA(which I couldn??t bring :P ). I feel it is a good place if one wants to just study, learn,work hard and then aim for something practical in one??s field. You will be disheartened If you expect Discovery channel level professors, cutting edge research and 100% core placements from here.

this was the best college i was getting as per reputation. Even being in chemical i can get job in IT sector with a bigger salary than IEM CSE or KIIT CSE branch. Campus area is good also. It is near to my home as well.

Placement was the main criteria and the reputation of the college as one of the elite one. Plus some my relatives friends and family friend were passout of this Institute and are on great positions in their respected fields. And i wanted to choose electrical branches and from my rank this was the best option to choose.

Good MHRD ranking, Good location, Good city, Quality of teaching,infrastructure is good. Mess and hostel reviews were good,passed out students are doing good, past records of campus placements are good,have a fair selection process in admissions

This College was best nearest to my home. The NIRF Ranking of the college at my time was 31 which made me choose this. The Alumini community of this college is very helpul and cooperative and are placed in top-notched companies also. The environment and nature exposure in the college is very nice. The whole campus is full of greenary. The college has most of the modern lab equipments and specialised labs which is good for research purpose. The faculties in the college are very nice and experienced.

Vicinity to my home town BIT Mesra is a famous institute Infrastructure is amazing Campus is beautiful and very big It is one of the prestigious institute in India Bpharam course is ranked no.11 in India

To be honest my JEE score was one of the key factors and it's nearer to my residence. The faculty and the learning environment. I like the greenary over here and infrastructure. Safe and tidy lodging places

Location campus and the quality if education provided in the institute made me choose the college moreover since the college was close to my home it would be easier for me to visit my house during the weekends or holidays
