I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

AN OVERVIEW OF BIT MESRA RANCHI

Likes

Great atmosphere and fresh air with lush greenery. Campus is full of greenery.
Separate buildings for different purpose and responsive faculties
Good availablity of all requirements in the canteen .

Dislikes

Rooms are of small size and have no option of single accomodation
There is no strictness about evening timing to remain in hostels.
More than 50 percent students are of home state ... This percentage should be less ... Reservation for home state students should be less

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for the internship and from 7th onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. College have good placement statistics in CSE branch for last two years where average package is about 18 lpa. Almost all companies visit the college for campus placements and last year highest package is 57lpa in CSE branch. Some seniors are saying that this year average package of CSE will be about 24 lpa Which seems quite good.

College experience from a freshee

The college is full of greenery but that dosent mean unorgenised jungle , it is well maintained and makes it peaceful which basically releases all your stress
how can i miss about clubs , we have alot of clubs and many of the clubs are 20-30 years old , although covid affect some activities of club but it has regained the flow and club member are really supportive
Some the professors have international recognition and there classes are really amazing

Dislikes

First of all it is quite far from the ranchi city , hard to move out from college , in short terms connectivity issue
lack of research culture which i expected from some branches
library and not well maintained, being such a huge college the library infrastructure lack many things

Placement Experience:

for 4 years of course people are eligible for internships from 6th sem. my specific course that is a 5-year course, people are eligible from 8th sem. 70+ companies visited highest for this year till now in my branch is 50 lpa average is 10 lpa

My view about my lovely college

Likes

In our campus there are many trees all I can say our campus is full of greenery .And the things which need to improve is daily facilities of a student. Because the college is far long from the main city .
I really my campus life , I have also perticipate many sports like football, basketball and some cultural groups too.
The facilities in our branch are very expert in their field. They teaches us everything patently.

Dislikes

As I see the placement record in our college is good . Many reputed companies are visited there.
Infrastructures are good . All I can say it has very good Infrastructure and campus life
I admit the course which I took it is has a good future and all I need to do one thing I need to focus in it because it is one of the difficult subject.

Placement Experience:

As i noticed the placement records are increasing every year last year the highest package from our college was 53lac per annum which is in campus placement and this year it is increased and it goes 58 lac per annum

BIT Mesra- Where the ambitions meet reality.

Likes

Great college culture, very friendly people, and alot of festivals keep happening.
The best campus possible, very beautiful, surrounded by two lakes on both sides.
Great professors, who are very qualified.

Dislikes

Home state quota is too much, decreases the quality of students.
Branches like food technology and QEDS are not relevant to the college and also MnC should be a BTech course.
Shops are very expensive inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

Almost all companies except netflix and apple come to the campus with offering great placement opportunities to everyone. It is a very fair process. Highest package last year went around 60lpa on campus I guess. Plans after degree idk didn't decide yet.

The no. of clubs and there constant activeness. Students are provided the opportunity to take part based on their interests in the clubs.
The seniors are very cooperative and the bullying culture is not present.
The professors (most of them) are kind and friendly (mainly during times of attendance shortages).

Dislikes

There is a huge lack of information in many fields like the events, conferences, scholarships, etc.
The hostel facilities( mainly in girls' hostel) needs a huge improvement and modernization as well. Also, the quality of mess food needs to be enhanced.
The lack of availability of single accomodation after 2nd year is also a huge demerit for the institute.

Placement Experience:

1. The placement scenario for the year 2024-2025 was quite decent. But, it still needs improvement. 2. The highest package was approx. 50 LPA and avg. was around 12 LPA. 3. The scenario of our department (chem) was that around 58% percent of eligible students got placed.

Cafeteria is good and varities of product are there

Mess food is not so good it is of average quality

Placement is too notch in the college .top companies like Microsoft ,Google, Amazon and other faang companies visit the campus for internship and placements and provide a really very good package to the students

Things I liked is the branch which I opted for and the placement of our branch
The college campus and the college life here is great
Gender ration is also ok better then other college's

Dislikes

Mess food and food truck are not that good respective of there money
Hostels rooms are very small compared to other colleges
Cleaners don't come daily for cleaning rooms

Placement Experience:

Placement are top notch .. especially for the branches like cse ,ece,mnc,Aiml these are the branches which are been given the opportunity the most rather then circuital brnaches because from there domain generally students choose software as it's domain

The campus is very big. It has a good space, the surroundings in the campus is quiet good
The security in the college is good and helps a lot
The faculty are also very helpful and they teach very well

Dislikes

The library closes at 9:00 pm due to which students face many problem
Compered to boys the girls dont have much freedom as their hostel closes at 9 pm
The gym get very crowded ehich creates a chaos

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good there are a number of renowned companies that visit the campus every year. The average package of mechanical is 15 LPA. Where else the overall average package is 12 LPA. The scope for other branches is also good

I also liked the faculty and the way they solved our doubts
I also liked the infrastructure of the college

Dislikes

I did not liked the hostel condition and mess menu
I didn't like the cafeteria in the college
I also did not like the college fees as it is very high

In my college BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY RANCHI we have a decent placement scenario in my branch INTEGRATED MSC. MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTING we have a decent placement in which our average packaghe is around 12 lpa

The campus is very scenic and beautiful. The campus is also large enough for students to explore
It also have many clubs to promote extracurricular activities among students
As far I know the placement this year was decent

Dislikes

They don't want to spend money on any student activity , they will assign a small canteen area for every student activity like garba night and deepotsav.
The so called technical fest, Pantheon was so rubish, that even a local private college could do better than that. They only organised a few events that too in the small canteen area and the fest lasted for just 2 to 3 days
Although few of the faculties are good , most of them don't have the enthusiasm to teach.

Placement Experience:

The placement for the circuital branch is good , the average of computer science and artificial intelligence is around 18 to 20 lakhs . But only a few core companies are visiting the college so, the students in lower and core branches may find it difficult to get placed
