The faculty should ratio a very good and the teachers teaches very well and they have a great responsibility and demanding power of the student they teachers very well and they understand us like their own son
If you have a good % in your 12th you will get a good scholarship for your fees.
Campus life is fun with i guess the best cafe in all of doon one of the best rooftop cafe and other amenities also good .

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not so good in my opinion but it depends on person to person.i don't like hostel because of many restrictions but there's always a way to do things.
The staff doesn't have a good communication amang themselves which leads to poor effectiveness ratio between faculty-to-student which impact the experience of student whether it's related to college or the leaarning experience.
There were internship opportunities, so many, but the only problem was that we were being asked to pay for every internship and i personally wasn't ready at all to pay for the internships and henceforth i did not choose any.

My college experience

Remarks:

Take admission only if you extra money to spare and you don't care about making a career. You'll have a great time during your college life here. You'll probably get to travel a lot. But keep your expectations really low for making a career in your field after graduating.

Remarks:

Being a cse student I feel that exposure in terms of technical aspects is not available here. They focus more on extra curricular activities and less on the technical things. This is the only drawback which I feel is there.

Best of engineering in dehradun

Remarks:

Good platform to get knowledge but the studying environment should be more satisfying. Like more focus should be on practical lessons rather than theoretical part. The merit of the college is that the teachers are very supportive and weather conditions are extremely good.

DIT University the heart of Dehradun

Remarks:

No negative remarks just a thing that many students want the college to focus more on sports as they do at this moment. The positive things include the food quality which is perfect. The medical and hostel facilities are apt. The college also has a gym for hostellers.

Collage life in DITU

Remarks:

As per my opinion there is no such negative remark but I would like to say that don't take advice from the everyone but take one advice from a successful person that will be helpful.i think my collage is very good in all over dehradun or we can say all over uttarakhand.

Remarks:

I just have one problem with the College which is regarding course structure and teaching patters. We need to change our education system more emphasis on invotions and practical approach rather than theory. More emphasize on implementation.

Positive- the college is over all good and the best thing that it is situated in dehradun-mussouri road so you will get the best weather like no where else also surrounded by nature and far from dehradun city about 2 kms. Negative- the college does not initate anything for the betterment of student and just provide us degree .

Remarks:

It is a good place for students who really want to study and are ready to put in self efforts. The faculty will always teach you to the best of their ability but not all teachers are the best. Also the nature surrounding the campus is quite awesome.

My friend is a final-year student at DIT University. Since the university is a private one, everything is simply in your hands.

The following points are based on her experience at the campus:

Campus: The university has a good environment. You can enjoy the sterile hilly scenic beauty from the windows of the class. All this might even distract you from the lectures going on while studying.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and would definitely help you out in any way possible. As per my friend, there are only a smaller number of ‘not par’ teachers, but they were average. Most of the faculty members are well qualified with good experience in their respective fields.
Extra-curricular activities: Right from the freshers’ party till the farewell, you will get countless opportunities to perform in front of the audience and showcase your talent. You can join college clubs, be a part of them and bring out new ideas. The clubs aren’t very active and you’ll be free most of the time you stay here.
Placements: The placements were good this year. My friend got placed in two companies: Infosys and Wipro. For the CS branch, the placements are very good. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizance, TCS, Adobe, Amazon, etc. are just a few companies in which the DIT students have got placed.
