The faculty should ratio a very good and the teachers teaches very well and they have a great responsibility and demanding power of the student they teachers very well and they understand us like their own son
If you have a good % in your 12th you will get a good scholarship for your fees.
Campus life is fun with i guess the best cafe in all of doon one of the best rooftop cafe and other amenities also good .

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not so good in my opinion but it depends on person to person.i don't like hostel because of many restrictions but there's always a way to do things.
The staff doesn't have a good communication amang themselves which leads to poor effectiveness ratio between faculty-to-student which impact the experience of student whether it's related to college or the leaarning experience.
There were internship opportunities, so many, but the only problem was that we were being asked to pay for every internship and i personally wasn't ready at all to pay for the internships and henceforth i did not choose any.

The location of college View of college and timings of in and out for students in college are very nice
Library and college infrastructure is up to mark
Placements are good teachers are very helpful

Dislikes

As I joined 1 year ago i didn’t face that much problems so for now i have no negative points

The curriculam should align with carrer objectives providing skills knowledge required in job market prepare students for further academic persuits if they wish to continue their eduction specialisation course are also present there

Dislikes

In computer science branch there are too many students
Cafeteria of campus have very high rate of food
Hostel mess food is not tasty and unhygienic

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. TCS and many prominent company visited the campus . 60 to 70 percent of students get placed this year. Highest package was of 54 lpa. The campus placement are fair enough

DIT University, home away from home

Likes

I liked the college's faculties, they are gery helpful and kind
I loved the college hostel room, very spacious.

Dislikes

I disliked the mess food as eating the same food every week makes it boring
The main doors close at 6pm, after that there is no movement in or out of the campus.
There is an outpass system which means a hosteller needs to get permission to go out

Placement Experience:

Being a student member of the placement cell of the university, I can assure that our university offers best placement after iit and nit in uttarakhand. Our placement rate is 99.2 percent and average placement is ?900000lpa.

Placement and internship opportunities are not so good

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester college are eligible for college placement but before 7 semester you can internship. Rightnow if you want to sit in college placement you have maintaine a cgpa of 7.5 ! Mostly 70- 80% students get placed

Achitecture Course Review in DIT

Likes

Studios have decent furniture with excellent drafting tables.

Dislikes

The management is poor. And the portal is not well maintained
There are a total of about 9 subjects per semester but zero time for sport activities.
Campus is too small and does not have a ground to play sports.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I believe Architecture course curriculum is pretty heactic but one thing I dislike here is that all the optional courses are made compulsory and we end up having 8-9 subjects per semester. The curriculum is available on the college website.

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester everyone becomes eligible for placement and most of the companies have cutoff of 6 CGPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, cognizant, Wipro and many other companies visit. And the average package is around 4.5 LPA and around 90% students gets placed during college placements.

Likes

The placement are good for the computer science and it students ,but there are few compnies visit for core branches like electrical
Moderately busy calendar 1to 3 month quality and taste of food is acceptable mess and cooking is hygenic
Well stocked liberary ,teachers help students well resources and teacher are good interested style for teaching

Dislikes

Electrical and mechinical field are not good placement so other nraches improve the placements policy
I am not satisfied cultrul and event in this collge
Faculty member are well qulified and knowledge but somtime are not satisfied

After 6 students are eligible for campus placement Oracle, accenture, just lay, encryption, soti etc Highest package 58 lakh and average package 8 lakh 85% student are placed My plan after getting a degree job

Internship Opportunities, Career Counselling are focused very carefully by their faculty and management. I

Dislikes

There nothing big things to dislike but some things like college is in remote location , little isolation from urban areas .
One thing I have noticed during admission , customer care service is not as good as I expected. These thing are quite disappointing.
Lack of transparency communication. These factors can significantly affect the overall college experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers a lot of topics. The subjects are up to date. The teachers help us in every aspect, weather its course or practical knowledge of subjects.

The college environment is pretty good. DIT provides safe and secure environment. Moreover the weather is what attracts most people to DIT
Most of the faculty is also kind and helpful. The curriculum and teaching is is great here.
Regular club activities help encourage students and keep them fresh and motivated.

Dislikes

The environment is secure, there are too many restrictions on girls l living in the Hostel related to outings and in time
The management is a bit slow and may take a long time to even solve a simple issue
There is little expose to students regarding the internship programs and career engagement programs.

Placement Experience:

The placements in college are satisfactory. However this year(23-24), the placement rate was low. The students become eligible for sitting in the campus placements from their 7th semester. The highest package is this year was 58 LPA. And the average package for last year was 7.5- 10 LPA. The top recruiters are Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft, Cognizant, IBM, etc. More than 350 recruiters visited this year with 1300+ offers. Last year the placement percentage was approximately 95%. My plans after the completion of my course is to look for better placement opportunities and also prepare for higher education.

The reality of Dit university

Likes

The vedanta building of dit university is really well built and maintained
The hostel facility is really convenient and close to university.
The cleanliness all over university is superb classrooms, labs, hostels are alway cleaned. The cleaning staff here is really fast and good at work.

Dislikes

The in and out time for hostels is reaaly bad . the timing always got changed if there any mishappening occurs.
Mess food is really bad sometimes and the warden too
Sometimes there is problem with wifi connection for all day long in campus as well as in hostels

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 7 out of 10 In the terms of relevance and Comprehensiveness. mostly, our curriculum is based on theory as well as practical, but mostly it covered theoretical part. Like in the subjects like operating cement, all both theory and practical is applied in that course. The frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective and their difficulty level is, I would say medium too hard And also we have a semester of five month in which we have midterm examination in the third month, and we only have one midterm examination and one term examination and other than that we have four quizzes, labs and assignments.

My friend is a final-year student at DIT University. Since the university is a private one, everything is simply in your hands.

The following points are based on her experience at the campus:

Campus: The university has a good environment. You can enjoy the sterile hilly scenic beauty from the windows of the class. All this might even distract you from the lectures going on while studying.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and would definitely help you out in any way possible. As per my friend, there are only a smaller number of ‘not par’ teachers, but they were average. Most of the faculty members are well qualified with good experience in their respective fields.
Extra-curricular activities: Right from the freshers’ party till the farewell, you will get countless opportunities to perform in front of the audience and showcase your talent. You can join college clubs, be a part of them and bring out new ideas. The clubs aren’t very active and you’ll be free most of the time you stay here.
Placements: The placements were good this year. My friend got placed in two companies: Infosys and Wipro. For the CS branch, the placements are very good. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizance, TCS, Adobe, Amazon, etc. are just a few companies in which the DIT students have got placed.
