Likes

I love the teaching of the teacher, they are very good.
There are different scholarship plans like nsp, students aids fund, etc., and also on-campus jobs with suitable stipends.
The library is good the only thing which attracts me and all my friends.

Dislikes

Far as i know, the placements are not very good in this university.
Timetable was overwhelming. timing of the classes were exhausting such that you won't get enough time for finishing home assignments even.
The roi is very poor as placement scenarios is negligible.

Assam University is the Best University

Likes

The teacher are so good .and the timeing of the classes is good also
College canteen..the college canteen was so good . everything is available in the canteen
Fess.. the exm fess and admission fees is less than other universities

Dislikes

Practical room ..the practical room is not so good
Ragging..some seniors are doing ragging of junior students

Story of a New University ( BSSRV )

As the college is built recently and the B.Tech batch has started from this year 2024 it will take some time.
The infrastructure of the college is very good and well maintained.They also have many facilities like BUS Services, All campus Wifi , 3-4 Canteen with affordable rates. 24*7 Cooler water, etc.
The Faculty are very good and friendly. They all have done there graduation from IIT , NIT.

Dislikes

As this is the new Btech batch there is a shortage of Computer. But it will be fix by 3-4 weeks.
College has many empty labs as they are slowly adding new courses per year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is same as other engineering colleges and the faculty members teach them very well. Every week there is a class on entrepreneurship where they teach student how to start a buisness and explore ideas.

A Student Happy With His College

Likes

The teacher are really concerned about our studies. They take our class regularly and provide us notes which are very important for us , they are really worried about our studies and help us in any problems faced us. The environment is good
Students are really getting good results studying in the college and the teacher always bless us and take care of our any problems.
The college canteen members are also very well behaved and provide hygienic food.

Dislikes

There’s nothing which i dislike about my college. I love everything about my college.
I can say we dont have a big playground in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed B.Com because it is very important for me because i am going to appear Banking exams which made feel important to take B.Com as we can study things related to Banking and it can help me in my Banking exams. The exams are difficult as we know Commerce accounting are not that easy and the improvement should be taken regarding the theory classes of accounting subjects.

My Time at SS College : A Review of the Ups and Downs

This college provides quality education and the professors are very helping in nature.
The college environment is like home and all the students follows the discipline properly.
The college infrastructure is very good.According to me it has the best infrastructure among the other institutions in the district. It has every essential facilities including NCC, central library, computer classes, gymnasium and other facilities.

Dislikes

The college doesn't have a common room for boys. They alloted the verandah of the college auditorium for boys.
The college doesn't have a parking shed so that students have to park their vehicles in open sunlight.
The office staffs are very arrogant in nature.

This course is very interesting and knowledgeable and the curriculum prepared by the board was very good but it needs some improvements like more numbers of lectures, provide references and etc. The course is very vast so students need more lectures in broad for better understanding.

The college has a great environment with great surrounding
College facilities provided to students is satisfactory
The University provided subjects which students are free to choose

The infrastructure of college needs improvement
Students aren't regular so it's needs improvement
The time period for subject classes had gaps which is unsatisfactory

I decided to choose Fyug course because this is the new policy. And the B.com course because this is related to accounting. The exam timing is usually in the afternoon shift which is suitable for me as a student

The college of pride

Likes

Good faculties who teaches us with their whole heart out
Good infrastructure that promotes healthy environment
Good canteen which provides healthy food

Dislikes

Sometimes the washroom water gets disconnected
Students often come out without flushing
No proper guidance is given for those students who do not follow the rules and regulations of the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

At first the faculties are very good in teaching that influenced me to choose this course. The curriculum prepared me too well that I can sit for further upcoming examinations. The only area that needs to be improved is the college authority must hire few more teachers even as a part time because there's a lack of teacher.

It is very large campus and it has very big Library

In Assam University there is no sufficient canteens .

Yeah it is very useful in terms of course there are preparing very well regarding the course and in every semester there is programming languages which make curriculum even more intresting in terms of study it is best

The campus is big so we can atlesst walk around
There are buses which makes it easy for going to departments
There is atm and grocery shops inside so it makes it essy

Dislikes

There are no cctv in every corner of the campus
There is no proper light in some corner of the campus
The hostes are not proporly cleaned so makes life difficult

Likes

Really liked the university campus size as it is very large
The whole campus is full of greenery, animals and fresh air.
Scenic beauty of our university is the best.

Dislikes

Very slow renovation since the establishment of our university
Lack of campus life, events in our university
Education system, exam patterns , teachers are always against the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good since post COVID. A very less amount of companies are willing to come to our university. From 6 th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies visited are TCS, tata Wipro etc Highest package in 2024 was 10lpa Average package in 2024 was 4 lpa 50% students were placed in 2024 My plans after this is to get into MBA

Overall a good journey with some good and bad experiences

I liked the ambiance of the college
Teachers are very cooperative
Many teachers are active in NGO's

Dislikes

I didn't like the campus because it's too small
I didn't like the principal of the college
We donot even have a high-tech class and AC in our department and principal sir doesn't even provide us

At first, I applied for Zoology honours but my marks were insufficient to get a chance in that department. Afterwards, I got a chance in Botany honours. After my first class my POV changed for the subject and I felt it was quite interesting subject
