- Courses and faculty - course are interesting and faculty is very enthusiastic and have great knowledge and have helping nature polite
- Scholarships like merit-cum-means and institute free studentship are available based on merit and financial need.

Dislikes
- Gate was entrance exam for this course.i found the application form and details in iitg website only.reservation is available but i am not eligible for that .exams are so difficult .it is so much difficult
- Hostel mess food is very bad, and very less food outlets
- The heavy workload, with assignments, projects, and exams, stress students. balancing studies with extracurriculars and personal life is be tough.

- Firstly the campus is very beautiful.full of greenery and cleanliness.
- The academic is very tough if you are not following the proffs.proffs are damn good and they set question papers in that difficulty level where you can't answer those questions if you haven't clearly understood that topic.

- The placement scenario in this year 2023 was not very good I will say.
- The food in the mess needs to be improvised ,mainly the lunch.
- The weather is very unpredictable.weather here changes just like lizards changes their colour so fast.
Placement Experience:
After your third year is completed then companies starts vising the campus for recruitment . companies like Google , Microsoft , oracle , Uber and many more visits the campus.the highest package offered this year was around 1.2 crore and the average package was around 25 lakhs.this year around 62 percent students got placed.after getting the degree I will do the job allocated to me during the placement.If you are not getting any on campus placement then you have to apply for off campus.

- The city connection is not very good and there are localities which are very bad in behaviour for iit students
Course Curriculum Overview:
Some courses like which are having no credit but then also we have to do that courses are very bad like in our 3 Rd semester there is course which is hs200 in which they study sustainable development we don't want that type of courses but we have to study

- i like debating with my friend in any topic related to science
- i like playing sports because sports are nessesary

- there are lots of works in iitg i dislike it
- i dislike the rainy season due to some personal issue
- i also dislike the south indian food given in the mess

in my college placement is quite good off couse because is is an IIT the most respectable college in my college last year highest pacage is 2.4 crore and averege is 26 lakhs per year and 84 percentage students are placed

- Campus is beautiful and lovely weather.friendly surroundings.campus is so eco-friendly and we have full of greenary, specially I love the animals in our campus we have dogs and cats in our hostel which are friendly and doesn't harm us. Hostel is good
- People here are very friendly. even though I don't know Assamese these people including security and warden help us a lot they respect us alot they take a good care of us and check on us so that we don't do anything bad .
- Professors explanation is good . We have many good facilities to study and to ask doubt. Places in campus like library, lecture hall are so good . We have sports complex with different sports which keep our mental health good and the coach for every

- As I am from warangal I like some spicy food wchi I don't get here

Placement in our college is so good actually we have a club named sail which look over these placement the people in this club take the responsibility to bring the placement and intership for the students which is quite helpful

Mtech students Are eligible for the placement in there 2nd year.
Almost 400+ companies visited this year for placement here 2023-24 batch. 824 student till date are placed out of 1400 students.
Highest package domestic was 1cr and international was 2.4 cr for this placement 2023-24 season.
76% of the students got placed this year.

Placement Experience:
Generally placements at IIT Guwahati is Quite better than other IITs . Here many students get internships in their 3rd year btech irrespective of their branch if they have coding skills & projects . Avg CTC is 22 LPA 92% placed
My plan after getting degree is to prepare for UPSC

- The Campus is very beautiful and mesmerizing. If you come here you are very lucky to see the most beautiful campus in India. It feels like you are in heaven.
- Placement is quite good here. I would say in terms of placement, it is better than IITB even.
- Campus life here is amazing. You will have lots of memories in the campus.
Dislikes
- Faculty here are not that great. Most of the time, you have to labor hard and depend on yourself.
- The location of the college is screwed. Going to the city is a bit tasky so you donot have the option to visit the city frequently.
- The NorthEast does not have a very good connectivity of roads or rails so you don't have very good options if you want to travel nearby.
Placement Experience:
Companies start to come for placements when you are in the third year of college and do come till the 4th year. You also have a chance for PPO if you have a good internship.

I am not very sure what to do after the degree, but I am inclined towards pursuing higher education.

Placements at IIT Guwahati are good enough to get you placed. All you need to do is prepare well. As an MTech student if you didn't get placed you can still went for PhD in foreign if you have worked well In your project and your guide is satisfied with your work

- There will be many opportunities other than education like sports
- The fests in which students have to organize everything which helps a lot

- Education was a little bit difficult for every course
- Teacher s was not able to take care of all students education due to more students
- It was very long distance from our native place so it was difficult for us to travel

Students in the 3 rd and4 th year of btech will eligible to sit in the placements .The highest package was around 2 crore and the minimum package would be like 10 lakhs per annum .Companies like ISRO ,Indian oil ,HP ,bharath petroleum,tata, dell ,oracle etc are the companies visited for placements.around 75 percentage students gets the placement.

Because of industry synchronized courses, it is very easy for students to get jobs within and outside campus. Those who are interested in research also has opportunities and support from college to study in foreign universities. Average placement rate is around 95% with students getting placed at high paying jobs and good positions from diversified fields.
