NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I want to study at a reputed college, with a stimulating environment as I have always lived in major cities where I can go to cafes, to hear music, to museums and sports events as part of my everyday life. NIT Silchar has become one of the best engineering colleges in India, and I wanted to study under the best minds in the country. It also offered the specialization I was seeking, and I wanted to fast track my education.

Factors which drove me to take admission are 1.Best collage for BTech according to my JEE main score. 2.Placement is good 3.Government collage : fee is not very high as compared to other private or PPP mode collages.

It is one of the prestigious Engineering Institute of India. My score in JEE mains allowed me to get an admit in this college. The campus of the college is very big and quite beautiful due to its greenery. Loved the four years i spend there. I would say these four years in college were the most memorable years of my life

Because I got good reviews in internet about this college and got enough marks in JEE MAINS to get into the college and also it is under Central govt and also has national importance and we can engage in many co curriculum activities apart from studies. NITS got a very good environment.

Nirf rank 9, of nit silchar has fascinate me to choose it over nit patna and uttarakhand, both three colleges have similar closing ranks for ece but ultimately i see ranks of them, rank of nit patna was 26, nit silchar was 10, and nit uttarakhand was some what around 24, so ultimately i see ranks as well as year of establishments, nit silchar is the REC, regional engineering college, the top college of northeast states among all 7 states, established in 1967, so it overall fascinates me, also hostel facilities are awesome, while nit patna has old hostels. So nit silchar seems to be better at that time, so i choosed it.

NIT is National Institute of Technology and It is institute of national importance and It is best for engineering after IITs. It has a good campus placement also and overall facility is very good. It has a very large campus of 625 acre. Though it is in very backward place like silchar in Assam still it has very good campus placement of about 80-85%. Companies like Amazon, Goldman, OIL visit here every year.

The first reason for choosing this college was it is in my home state and the college is recognised as the second best college in the whole of North-East after IIT-Ghy. Another reason for choosing was because in the range of my rank of JEE, I got satisfactory branch in this particular college. Furthermore, after going through some reviews online about infrastructure, placement etc, I became aware of the significance of the college and hence choose this college.

Great research Exposure.Cllection of intelligent minds.Ideas are flowing between students.Hugh paying job opportunities.The name tag is respectable.Has high recommendations for higher studies abroad.The labs are very well equipped with great and updated technology.

It's a national level recognised institute which is one among the beautiful campus in india. It has a NIRF ranking of #50-60 and it's stands #9 among other NIT's in India which is one of the important factor to grab my attention towards it.

I just wanna get out of my state and explore.Then,I started sorting out the best college,that I would get,with my JEE rank.After some research regarding colleges,I thought entering into NIT Silchar with ECE branch would be better.So,I joined.
