Nit silchar is the very helpful for talented engineers.Placements,infrastructure, facilities and corse curriculum is very good of Nit silchar.I will provided other students to take admission in this collage.

No negative remarks. Strict academic discipline is maintained. One positive remark is that a student is given two chances to clear backlogs. 1 Gbps LAN connection is provided to every single student. There is no any means of intercession with any faculty. If anyone found doing, his/her graduation will be with held. Also security patrolling routines are carried out during night.

Overall, In my experience, I'm having good times in NIT Silchar. The whole environment around the college is very good and peaceful. The people around are very caring and they are from all over India. We get to experience many cultures.

The teachers, seniors of our college are very good and helpful. The campus is very good and big. Transport here is bad as no buses travel in Silchar you have to go to autorickshaw. The location of this college is not too good. The environment here is very good and learning. You will not feel bored here. There are many lakes in our college nearly 24. The mess food is not too good. The LAN sometimes become unstable. There are 11 shops inside our college which provides everything you want so you don't have to go outside of the college campus for basic needs.

NIT Silchar spread over 625 acres with about 19 lakes, tea garden, a big auditorium, 9 boys, 3 girls hostel and Post Graduate hostel for boys. It has Asia's biggest digital library dedicated to our former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. It has its own Health Care centre with 24x7 ambulance facility. It has lots of societies and clubs where people could join based on their interests and excel in that area. have supercomputing centre which provides WIFI Facility in Guest House, Administrative Building, Lecture Hall Complex, Residential Quarters, Health Centre, Estate Engg. Branch, SAC Building, NITS Cafe as well as the departments and LAN facility in hostels of course with some blocked sites.

The college infrastructure is not much good that must be for a NIT even the authority is not in the positive mindset of improving that.

NITS is a wonderful place to enjoy your college life. You will never regret your decision.

The college is really good with great students from all over India, the environment here in silchar is fantastic with absolutely no predictability. Coming to the Silchar town, it is having everything but the roads and transport is not that good. My overall experience has been really fantastic.

The infrastructure of the college is very good with largest library in Asia recently being completed in collaboration with University of Illinois. The college life here is extremely enjoyable and is a great learning experience. The natural beauty of campus is mesmerizing with lakes and greenery and beautiful sunset and beautiful weather.
