NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Overall national institute of technology silchar is amazing. It is far better than many national institute of technologies. Placement scenarios are good. Average is around 6 lakhs per annum. Faculties are brilliant. Campus is also beautiful

The college is very safe and secure. With armed gaurds and fixed points in the campus and regular mounted patrols , you don't have to worry about any outside threats. Also night time gaurds are veg active. Students are instructed to be back to hostels by 8pm and not allowed to stay out of college grounds.

Positive- Everything is good, it contains all required things that is required for being an idol college Negative- The campus should be well maintained, can be beautified more. Course burdain should be lessened, as per students own branch.

There's nothing much negative about our College. In an overall scenario it's the best. It has got alot facilities for a student. Students can be profited in all aspects. They've got nice hostels, large library and nice sports facilities.

Location was one of the major drawback of our college which is continuously getting better with the development taking place in the lower Assam region. It is a world class college that had the capicity to achieve 100% placement mark even with such location limitations.

Positive Remark : Since it is Centrally funded university, it is doing very well. Negative Remark: Since it is located at a remote area of Assam, many companies are not willing to come for placement activities.

Infrastructure is very good. Environment is more natural than any other institute. There are 28 lakes. The class rooms are net and clean. Our college is against of use plastics. Every where you can find dastbin.

all have been mentioned.And overall the feedback is good.

One positive thing is that one can learn a lot not only about the course but about life also. The college is improving a lot from the past few years. Its one of the college among the top 10 nits. Negative thing is that here teachers are not paid on the basis of feedback from the students. If that would have been the case they would have been more responsible.

Great college at parties with any other centrally funded institution in india. People often hesitate to come to Dilchar due to connectivity and development problem but in NIT silchar these problems are rarely felt.
