Everyone is friendly .all professors are helpful.very impactful teaching and very good experience and overall development.good coding environment and healthy competition among students.overall very knowledgeable and helpful faculty.
Pleacement of the college is going very nice many good company like google yahoo microsoft twitter comming for take placement and avg package of the electrical engineering students is 1200000,and cse students avg package is 1500000
Fee can vary between 4500 per semester to 60000 per semester .scholarship like minority-1,gen-1, sc-1, ... are provided to help students to complete there 4 year course without feeling financial burden

Dislikes

The placement for 2020-24 batch was not too nice like previous year .
Due to very low area ,we are somewhat feel problematic when have to organise any event at bigger level.
There will be no scholarship provided by any government site .about the placement is not good enough, especially for our branch the placement is too low and who have they got it a very low salary .

Placement Experience:

A large number of companies including Deloitte,oracle ,Texas instruments,etc came for internships and placements.Almost all the students from circuital branches get placed decently.This year Mechanical saw 100% placement.

Nit patna as centre of excellence

Likes

This college has the river Ganga by it's side making it more peaceful and beautiful.
Friendly faculty and the labs and their maintenance is pretty good.

Dislikes

The campus is not so big. We just have a couple of buildings and labs.
The library is also a bit small but it almost has all the books.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here during our first semester we will be having a one credit course called EAA, which focuses on things like sports, swacch bharath and innovative projects. These innovative projects helps us to gain the practical knowledge of the equipment.

Student's Perspective for NITP

Likes

In NITP, we can see very good traditional culture blend of Bihar with other students who came from different parts of the country. As NIT Patna is located on the banks of holy river Ganga, there is very calm vibe around the campus.
Labs, professors and TA's are good and supportive. Because of small campus there is one benefit that we can go to our lecture hall quickly in less time.e. Outside Campus everything is available as it is located in the middle of Patna city.
There is also very good culture of Sports. Ground is flat & green with no pit holes which makes it good for playing football and cricket. There is also separate girls and boys gym which consist of impressive amount of exercise machines.

Dislikes

Due to small campus there is disadvantage also. Number of students in a room of hostel are more than the capacity of room. Also , Library is small which makes difficulties to student during exam preparations.
Only one ground is present due to which different sports can't be played simultaneously. Canteen is not that good. Wi-fi of hostels are not consistent.
Since Patna is in it's developing phase due to which it makes difficult to travel from one location to another inside the city.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student can apply for placements. Many companies (private and government) visit on capus for placements.Companies like PhonePay, Amazon,Atlassian , Adobe , Texas instruments, flipkart and many more visit for campus placements.Highest pakage of year 2024 was 52 Lakhs per annum foe SWE. In CSE 89% ,ECE 82%,EE 78%, ME 90% students get placed this year(2023-24). After getting degree I would also apply for placemets in IT industry for the role SWE.

Not perfect but good college

Enrollment around colleges good with a near Ganga Ghat
Teaching is very nice from the faculty members
Hostel environment is enough for an ordinary person to live

Dislikes

Classrooms are not so good with broken benches
Classroom strength is too large with the 90 members per section
Food is not so good it contains less salt and ho

College is good with enough placement. In mechanical branch its even recorded for 100% placement , CSE branch has an average of 97.2% of placement with an average package of 100000 per month the highest package in previous year is 52 lacs where as and average is 13 lakhs per annum

Likes

The guidlines and cooperation from seniors is very good . They will help like our family.
The campus is in the middle of the city. Everything is available nearby
Teaching staff and college rules are good

Dislikes

Campus area is quite small not even 100 acres
People from south should adjust for food
Boys hostel Brahmaputra is very far from the campus

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 students are eligible for placement we are getting an average of 8lpa in civil engineering the highest package is like 24lpa and lowest is 6lpa almost 85% of students getting placed i want to study mtech after this degree

B.TECH LIFE IN AN NIT

Likes

I have liked the college in terms of its placements
I have liked the college in terms of the faculty clearing the doubts
I have liked the thing about the clubs and their events to the students

Dislikes

I have mainly disliked the hostel and the infrastructure in the hostel
The mess food is not good it should be hygienic and clean
The college faculty shows some discrimination between south students and north students

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from the 7 th semester.They will have the internships from the 6 th semester.There are many companies visited like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Wipro and electronics such as Samsung and more.The highest package in Ece department is 46 lpa and the average package is 11.6 lpa.The percentage of students getting placed is high in between the (93-96).My plans after getting the degree is to appear and pass the civil services.

The institute has good track record of placements with many reputed company visiting in the campus for recruitment.
The institute has a strong and active alumni network.
Situated in Patna the capital city of Bihar the institute benefits from good connectivity and access to various amenities

Dislikes

The infrastructure of NIT Patna is not good compare to other NIT.
A lack of fund for extra curriculum activities, clubs , and events.
lack of labs equipment's and class room.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio of NIT Patna is genrally reboust ,with a good percentage of students getting placed in reputed company. for those who do not secure placements. there are ample opporutinites through higer studies.off campus placement is also prefer colleage.

College is good in terms of culture, alumni and Beauty.
the best part of college is it is situated on the bank of river ganga.

Dislikes

campus is too small night now, but they are planning to shift the college to Bihta .may be in 2025
Too many Bengali professors is here , they have problem in speaking hindi and english both

Placement Experience:

Generally student with average or above acadmics gets placed. the placement scenerio depends on our high school grades also because some company allows 6- 8 and above CGPA in all exams. the avergae package in mechanical is 6-7 LPA.

Architecture life in NIT Patna

Likes

I like the fact that my college is situated just along the Ganga river.
Evenings are full of social interactions.
I like the hostels and its vibe is next level.

Dislikes

I dislike the old infrastructure of the college.
I didike the traditional old methods of theoretical teachings.
I dislike the hostel is outside the main campus.

Placement Experience:

In architecture the are very less college placements. In my college slowly reputed firms have started to come to recruit like Pinnacle. While in B tech placements are very good. Average package being 13 LPA, while last year's highest being 2 cr.

My college has best Infrastructure it has almost all of the facilities an NIT or a Engineering college needs.
My college NIT Patna are equipped with many clubs with supports the all round development of the students apart from academics.My college has many clubs and it has a green environment which is required for healthy living of all people living.
My college has best placement record. Students from our college get placement and job opportunities from top companies such as Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, OLX, Google, Adobe, etc.

Dislikes

My college NIT Patna has a small campus.
My college has a small gym. Which does not have all equipments for all the exercises of students for maintaining healthy lifestyle.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Adobe, Samsung, OLX, PhonePe, Tata Elxis, etc. visit our college for campus placements. Last yr 130% students have got placement opportunities. I am interested in getting a job in IT sector.
